Big hill to climb to walk to hotel, pool was good very deep 179cm no shallow end. The room was good but had to ask for double mattress as had 2 twin mattresses together which was uncomfortable

Nice comfortable room but have to update few things like organizing kettle, coffee & tea powder, microwave & mini bar. Also observed one of the staff was very rood during the free breakfast area.

Fine Hotel on Phi Phi

The way from pier to hotel is quite a walk of 10-15 mins. You better contact the hotel prior to pick you up and help you with luggage transfer to your room FOR FREE! Bring your mosquito repellant is recommended. Not in proximity to bars and loud noise so you should have a peaceful night sleep here. The beach at the back just 5 mins walking from the hotel which is great since there are less boats and ships dock on this side of the island. The clerk is friendly and informative enough. Breakfast is just bread and jam. find your own fav food at Cosmic restaurant in Backpacker street.

Simple stay.. Don't expect too much..

We stayed for 4days and 3nights.Room was ok with pool access.Not much of what we expected though.Breasfast is nothing that we look forward for except for the baked beans. Hotel staff are friendly. Service was good as we ask for extra pillow and we were given with fast respond.Room was clean and we need not ask for room service. They make up the room automatically. Was a good stay but we dont think we will come back.

Embarrassing, Humiliating Experience

Don't believe website and brochure - no restaurant(except for breakfast for additional fee), no room service, no working bar, no shuttle to Patong Beach, no welcome drink. Front desk is often vacant for problems or requests. My girlfriend and I were given a room with no working A/C and only after my second request and baking in a sauna for 3-4 hours were we finally moved to a room with working air. Room had a serious ant problem. In room internet access is weak. Having to go online in the lobby area we were confronted like common crooks by the office manager and housekeeper. We were shown a stained facial towel and shower curtain. I was obviously embarrassed and immediately apoligized - offering to reimburse. At checkout we were asked to pay 1000 Baht(around $30.00 US) for these cheap, old items. I was given no receipt!

Most Unfriendly Place is Thailand

At Jiraporn guest are seen as an inconvenience. My seven-year old said it was the 'most unfriendly place in Thailand'. This wasn't an exaggeration at all. Other than the phoney smile from the hotel's female manager we rarely seen any joy from the hotel staff. One night the lamp burned out so I went down and asked for a new bulb - the male attendant huffed and puffed on his way to the office door and without any sort of friendliness at all - shook his head and said 'no' - Needless to say we won't be returning and do not recommend this place. Find a hotel that has happy staff. The people in Thailand are some of the happiest I've met - perhaps because all of the miserable ones are at Jiraporn.

Good hotel, quiet location

The front desk staff were very nice, the pool is quite nice, a little small but a good view of Phuket. I would recommend this hotel even though it is out of the way from the beach as it is quiet at night. The hill can be quite a climb so not recommended if you have a physical disability.

Quiet, spacious hotel

Nice pool, air con, huge rooms with balcony and very friendly tour guide who was very helpful. Location was near great food. Too far to walk to beach but that was expected, they offered free rides 5x/day. This was a great hotel to start of my Thai holiday.

Jiraporn, who not recemmend

very rundown, no tea or coffee in room, aircon, broken, paid for 8 nights, stayed for one, our loss, but found another hotel right on the beach front at a cheaper price. The Jiraporn was at the top of a very steep hill, you had to be a mountain goat, also it is situated in a very run down area, dirty and very smelly

one of the best hotels to stay in patong

the reception is very good. the facilities provided are wonderful. they provide all the facilities they claim (even we got a welcome drink as mentioned). the travel agent facility they provide is very good. you don't need to move from your room to book tickets for tours etc. No language problem.nearer to all the needy shops/restaurants.

staff hospitality nice and the room big

Nice atmosphere and staff having hospitality mind even if I arrived late taxi pick me up to the airport.(charged 700 TBH) when I left and behind the item, hotel sfaff mailed me to the next accommodation with free. the location is not so much convenient but environment and hotel room is big so I got scored 7 and worth for staying from total points of my view.

La chambre est figée dans les années 70. Elle aurait besoin de rénovations. Cependant, les lieux sont propres, le lot est confortable et le personnel est sympathique. La piscine est bien entretenue. Le déjeuner est correct. Un peu loin des attractions principales, mais le personnel nous assiste pour s'y rendre.

Reservamos 3 habitaciones para 5 adultos, las cortinas de los baños no están muy limpias, nos parece que sería momento que las puedan renovar. En una de las habitaciones de filtro el agua y la reparación que hicieron fue poner un paño en la mesa, por lo que el huésped solicito un cambio y nos indicaron que no era posible hasta el día siguiente. Al día siguiente al regresar de un tour preguntamos si habían reparado y nos indicaron que no, rescató la atención del recepcionista que nos apoyo con una gestión en línea. Un lugar donde no volveríamos.

Helt ok hotell, men skuffendei forhold til annonsen. Syntes vi overbetalte. Vi fant det samme hotellet med samme deluxe king size seng med basseng som vi betalte 150 kr ekstra i tillegg til dere og natt til 400 bht pr døgn. På nettet. Kan anbefale hotellet til andre men dessverre ikke via dere.
