This is a 3-star hotel not even close to a 4-star, the service was terrible at the reception! It was a lot of wasted money and they did actually try to cheat with the room price to. My worst visit ever.
I wouldn’t ever stay here! Wasted a lot of money. All we loved was the breakfast, and the pool staff (Joe). I didn’t enjoy the stay and it was just inconvenience. Wifi was down, staff spend hours in our room fixing the problem, then advised they will move us into the same room type. We moved (inconvenienced to us), wifi wasn’t working in the new room? Then we had the aircon icing up and making noise plus hearing the ice, icing up (sleepless night) went to single beds which we paid for king (it’s extra $ for a king) Shower drains blocked, water getting into the bathroom - swimming pool. We talked to staff, unfortunately they couldn’t understand or help us to enjoy our stay! I highly recommend to look at another hotel - so many around. We’re in another hotel less 1km away and loving the stay and paying for a lot less price. Also, it felt dirty in rooms - cleaning wasn’t that great. I don’t ever write bad review but I had to share as our stay was a joke! It’s was unfortunate, the care or understanding of B-Lay Tong customers couldn’t be understood or helped. Very disappointed!
Brilliant place, close to the beach with sone spectacular views and a comfy bed. But the highlight of the place was the receptionist Jenny. She was incredibly friendly and helpful, not only with the hotel itself but the surrounding areas as well. Anything I needed to know from things to do to places to eat, she was always more than happy to help.
There was loud banging all night on the roof making sleep difficult at best the rooms were small but views were nice. Beware of girl at front desk named Jen she puts on charm to go out with foreigners asking them out for drinks but she hustled money from men with false promises, be smart and stay clear I think it's bad for employees to use patrons you get enough of that on Bangla road you don't expect it at hotel but it was a good lesson just beware. But besides that the hotel has great view just make sure your not on the forth floor because it sounds like an excavator breaking rocks all night on the roof.
B-Lay was our first hotel stay upon setting down in Phuket. Within the first hour i was reminded of the difference in quality standards between australia and thailand. Finishes in B-Lay definitely are not the worst, yet in no way are the best. Construction of the place feels a little cheap and low quality, despite left-field and interesting designs and artwork displayed throughout. The wifi is definitely unreliable depending on room you are staying in, so upon arrival find a tourist sim from the mall. B-Lay Tong is a moderate walk from the hustle and bustle of downtown Patong and Bangla road. This makes it pretty quiet in terms of location, with an open beach across the road. There is a very short walk to a number of decent bars and eateries for those who want a little more of a low key vibe. The pool overlooks the beach and is huge. The pool bar isnt well stocked, that said, staff are super friendly and obliging to make whatever they can to your liking. The pizzas are truly delicious. Breakfast not the best buffet style ive tried but still good covering all the basics. Fresh omelettes hello. Overall its a cosy hotel, and mid way to top quality. The intention is there, but the workmanship and attention to detail in its construction lets the place down. Our room had bright green interiors and frankly it was a bit if an eyesore.
We stayed for 3 nights and it was a fulfilling experience. Front desk Staff was very friendly and coperative. Everyone i dealt with was good; jenny, natty, mook, dome, fa and nut were all very helpful! Good job! Thankyou!
Pro’s The location of this hotel is brill a 15min walk from Bangla road and all the entertainment Towels provided around the pool Amazing artwork very modern Cons Very poor lighting around the hotel I nearly fell numerous times WiFi is terrible Unplug the clock we had the alarm going off at all hours Tiles falling off in the pool Very poor english Information extremely poor not shown any facilities or shown any information leaflets Balcony with only one chair on it due to it being so small Music round the pool very repetitive (akon lovers it’s the place for you) This would not be a hotel I would ever recommend we were very disappointed, would be ideal for a few nights but 2 weeks is a no, no
I recently stayed here at B-lay Tong with my friends we had a wonderful time there such a great peaceful place, Jenny who works there gave us a warming welcome and her service was wonderful and professional, told us everything we needed to know and was always asking us if we need assistance with anything she was excellent, i will be definitely coming back to B-lay Tong, thank you too all staff it was a great place
My friend and I stayed here for 3 evenings and had such a special and peaceful time. The location is fantastic, close to nightlife but far enough way that you don't get all the noise. The pool with the view of the ocean is stunning. The art and decor make this place really unique.
Service was very good and the staff were super helpful with planning and accommodations. Jen was extremely helpful with planning information for Phi Phi islands day trip. Location was great and in a relatively quiet location in Patong - walking distance from Patong beach. Mopeds and food stands are nearby. The pool has a great view of the beautiful beach and there is also a bar with music.
