We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that was spacious and adequate for our needs. The location was a good base to explore Scottsdale and convenient to shops and restaurants. Flower Child in the shopping center down the road was an excellent place to get a delicious and healthy lunch. The breakfast was good for the hotel's price point. The housekeeping was lacking, though. There were trash, crumbs, and spills in the kitchen. We are unlikely to stay here again when we return to Scottsdale.
Only here for a night in March 2017. Older hotel for sure, but kept in good condition and was clean. Small pool out front. Close to a couple of major office areas. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Stayed one night on business. Located across from a shopping center with multiple options for food. Fry's supermarket also good for stocking the kitchenette. I am disappointed that the suite had a connecting door. I have a hard time sleeping when rooms have connecting doors as I can hear almost everything that goes on next door. 'Wish Marriott had a way to set that as a preference in my guest profile. Otherwise, room was clean., Bed was comfy. Kitchenette was a cool feature. Only issue was my allergies. I could sense pet hair in the elevator as soon as I got in. I looked down and confirmed its presence. It was hard to get a good night's sleep given the combination of the noise through the thin connecting door and dealing with my allergic reaction to pet hair. Would probably consider other properties in the future just to ensure a good night's rest. Isn't that the main reason for finding a place to lay your head anyway?
Easy service and good location for spring training...not the elite hotels of the world but great for the price. Clean rooms and close to all action in Scottsdale. Good restaurants nearby and again easy access to highway for many spring training facilities.
Debbie at the front desk on Sunday night was fabulous! I made a mistake and Debbie did me right and went above and beyond to do her best to fix the problem. While I still don't like Chunky Monkey ice cream, I will always appre9what Debbie did for me. GREAT JOB DEBBIE!
I came up for business and was welcomed by a friendly staff. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is easy to find and housekeeping was attentive. Made it easier being away from home. I will stay here again.
While in town for a business meeting, arrived after 5pm and check in went smooth as the room was prepaid by company credit card, but the issue started when I was asked for a credit card for any incidental room charges. While balancing out credit card the next day and paying bills, found my credit card was billed for the stay and for a daily charge. Went to the front desk and was told that it was the corporate policy as proper paper was not on file, but was told that the issue would be resolved quickly. Still waiting on my credit back on my credit card, still told by my credit card company that Marriott Corporate had not released this credit back. Would how many other business travelers have had this happen to? Now disputing the charge with my credit card company, not a good way to treat a Marriott card holder with many prior stays through out the country, but it will be my last time!!!
The good.....staff here is fantastic---friendly and helpful. Location very good-right off the 101. Rooms decent size, good shower torque, small kitchen is a plus. Several restaurants nearby and a few within a 5 minute walk. The bad....checked in the day before with the Marriott app as suggested by Marriott email. When I arrived my room was not ready. Front desk took my phone number and advised they would call. No call received. Returned a few hours later and room was available. As a Gold member this is extremely disappointing. Room had window that would not close. TV periodically showed "lost signal" in lieu of picture. All my issues are easily remedied. Let's hope they improve
Nice hotel, located in a good section of Scottsdale, close to good shopping and dining. The hotel is 10 minutes - by car - from the upscale shopping area Scottsdale Quarter, Rooms are a little smaller than those of a typical Towne Place by Marriott but they are in good physical condition and maid service is good. Staff is nice and efficient! The mattress seems to be a little too soft but it offers a great rest. WiFi worked very well. The hotel offers free breakfast, selection is not very diverse but the quality of food offered is good. Will return with no hesitation to this hotels in Scottsdale.
Just returned from a 7 week stay at this hotel, we were very happy with our stay and will recommend to family and friends. We liked and used the outdoor grill and pool almost everyday! And really appreciated the 5 mile courtesy shuttle! Thank you! Staff for a great stay!!! Levi
