Our stay could not have been more enjoyable. The staff walks that fine line of being helpful without being intrusive. From checking in, housekeeping, the Continental breakfast, to check out... the staff was wonderful. We were in town for a rather large wedding, we also had family members staying at much more expensive hotels and our hotel stay was by far the best all around hotel stay. We stayed for 5 nights and this hotel has a full kitchen. This hotel also lets you check out crockpots and rice cookers, which is pretty fantastic, plus there is a grocery store across the street. We definitely cooked meals in our full kitchen. It isn't brand new but it's clean, safe, and affordable.
Check-in process fine. We went to room, opened the door and were shocked that this was a Marriott (even rated at Cat 4). The room had odors, carpeting and couch were so worn that we wouldn't sit on couch without fear of catching something. We called Marriott customer service and ended up moving downtown to a more pricey, but MUCH better Marriott. Hotel needs a total rehab, or better yet, switch name to Red Roof or Motel 6.
We stayed here during a remodeling project that found us in a need of a quiet place to sleep. The front desk was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early which was very appreciated. We had a studio which had a nice queen size bed, sofa, t.v. and small kitchen. There was a nice sized refrigerator, stove, micowave and toaster, desk, and bathroom. All was as expected and we had a very comfortable rest. The building is close to a freeway exit, grocery store and many other retail businesses and restaurants. We would come back.
Stayed here for one night during a family trip. Check-in was smooth, and the lady at the front desk was great. The room was good, but it did feel a little out of date in a couple of areas (such as the pullout couch). However, all in all, it was a good place in a great location. We’d stay again.
Hotel is very clean. The 2 bedroom suite is perfect for family. Lots of space and easy access to highway. Only a 20 min drive from airport . Large kitchen Marriott has a really nice hotel. Will come back next time we visit Phoenix.
This place is a small hotel but the staff are so friendly, the front desk is so helpful. Ricky at the front desk help me with directions and printed maps for me. He was such a nice guy! Great stay! The housekeeping staff was amazing, very friendly and very clean. The hotel was near the freeway and very convenient. Right in front of the hotel was a big super market and a lot of choices of restaurants. Every single member of the hotel staff was very helpful.
I stayed 3 nights while on vacation. My room was comfortable and quiet. I found that having a full kitchen was very convenient as I was able to shop at Fry's supermarket across the street and fix a meal if I didn't feel like eating out. There are plenty of food options close by as well as shopping at Marshall's, DSW & Steinmart nearby. I also found my room to be neat & clean
We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that was spacious and adequate for our needs. The location was a good base to explore Scottsdale and convenient to shops and restaurants. Flower Child in the shopping center down the road was an excellent place to get a delicious and healthy lunch. The breakfast was good for the hotel's price point. The housekeeping was lacking, though. There were trash, crumbs, and spills in the kitchen. We are unlikely to stay here again when we return to Scottsdale.
Only here for a night in March 2017. Older hotel for sure, but kept in good condition and was clean. Small pool out front. Close to a couple of major office areas. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Stayed one night on business. Located across from a shopping center with multiple options for food. Fry's supermarket also good for stocking the kitchenette. I am disappointed that the suite had a connecting door. I have a hard time sleeping when rooms have connecting doors as I can hear almost everything that goes on next door. 'Wish Marriott had a way to set that as a preference in my guest profile. Otherwise, room was clean., Bed was comfy. Kitchenette was a cool feature. Only issue was my allergies. I could sense pet hair in the elevator as soon as I got in. I looked down and confirmed its presence. It was hard to get a good night's sleep given the combination of the noise through the thin connecting door and dealing with my allergic reaction to pet hair. Would probably consider other properties in the future just to ensure a good night's rest. Isn't that the main reason for finding a place to lay your head anyway?
