Price for the room more than the listed price due unexpected high hospitality fees.

Hotel was nice. The front desk left something to be desired. When we first arrived the valet, which is included in your stay, was fantastic. The food from room service was actually quite good, but please remember that when you order the steak you ONLY get the steak. The room service staff were fantastic and I could not be more pleased with them. When we first arrived we discovered our phone didn't work, thankfully the room service staff actually ran up to our room to take our order in person. He was fantastic. The room itself was nice, though there were some stains on the chairs. The valet was nice until we had to leave more than once to go to a family gathering and when we returned the valet told us that we could not use the valet anymore. This was odd because it was part of our room fee. Speaking of fees they tack on additional fees for just about everything. Including staying in the room, eating in the room, and just calling room service.

Everything about the hotel was a welcoming experience. Most of all, the absolute quiet was wonderful. The hotel is walking distance to Mill Avenue where there are shops, bars and restaurants. Well worth the money.

The hotel is located near a university. The weekend we stayed, there was a festival going on. We can hear the loud noises coming from the bars nearby. If you don't mind the noise, this is a nice place to stay.

Beautiful property, excellent staff, had a great time. Loved the huge pool area. Restaurant was good, bartender Thomas was awesome. Could you another choice for dinner though. Very nice breakfast buffet, and the omelette maker was great!

Beautiful hotel - rooms could be cleaner - dust clumped on lights and something spilled down the bathroom door

Love this hotel, the pool is awesome. My only gripes are that when we showered in the morning they ran out of hot water. It went cold for a while (with shower turned up as hot as it would go). After a bit the heat returned. Also, there was a light bulb out. Rooms were very clean though and we'd happily stay there again at the orbitz price. Super close/ walking distance to lots of food/stores.

Large room, decent bathroom with nice amenities. Upgrading to a Keurig coffee pot would be nice.

Stayed 2 nights to help my kids get set up at the ASU . very convenient. restaurants all around. metro across the street. will be staying there again. thank you

It was Move in Weekend at ASU, I was lucky to reserve a room so close to the campus. The hotel was crowded but the staff was gracious, we received many complimentary discount coupons to enjoy during our stay. The room was comfortable, but not thoroughly clean, as evidenced by the housekeeping staff still attending to rooms on our floor at 5 pm on check in day. The facilities are dated, but once were elegant, I'm sure. The nearby conference rooms appeared heavily used. Parking leans toward valet service, with limited self-parking. The parking lots at the rear of the hotel are only accessible via the Lobby after dark as a safety precaution. The pool, spa and weight room were all very busy during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Tempe Mission Palms Hotel. The hotel is in a great location - walking distance to ASU and Mill Avenue (plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants). The staff is very nice.

Good experience and close to mill ave to go out at night and party.

Everything is almost perfect but I was surprised that the 6 of us was forced to pay additional tax on top of what was charged upon arrival, almost 16 USD per day per room. It made little sense to us. This could have been added to the total BEFORE I paid.

Great location in the heart of Tempe. Walking distance to many bars and restaurants. ASU's football stadium and basketball arena are around the corner.

For the price and location, this was a great hotel, very classy rooms. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Only problem was there was a college football game on (stadium is right down the street, and parking at the hotel was hard, but valet was used and free for guests), and the first night, all we heard were bands practicing and the college students going crazy. Hotel staff was nice enough to move us to a quieter room, which was better than our previous room. All in all, a nice stay!

Price via was great for our night stay in Tempe Arizona. AWESOME location - right on the downtown area, accessible to everything. The facility was nice, clean and most importantly comfortable. Definitely staying here again, during my next Arizona trip!

The hotel was very nice. Enjoyed the visit to Tempe. My friend and I enjoyed the room service and bar in the lobby.

Beautifully redone hotel. Great rooms, gorgeous interior atrium, hotel bar/club had delicious upscale food and cocktails. Staff were all wonderful and ride to airport was s breeze. Plus, free parking!

Stayed for a day. It was a clean hotel with a resort-like feel due to the nicely manicured horticulture and greenery as well as the marble lobby. The location is in the trendy part of town near the pubs, eateries and nightlife but the masseuse services were offsite and by appointment only. I expected a bit more for the price, especially because parking was on a public street.

I came here in late August for my Team USA time trials. The hotel was super easy to get to. It was a block away from bars and restaurants. It did get a little loud at night, but because of the location (right next to a college), it was understandable. Still slept like a baby. The receptionist at the front desk was nice. And there was plenty of parking. Overall, it was a great experience.

Thank you for the feedback. We apologize for our lack of transparency regarding the hospitality fees, and for the valet issues. We do provide valet service, and will be looking into why our valet team member told you otherwise. I certainly apologize for that. Thank you for letting us know so we may improve upon our service. Also, thank you for the kind words regarding our room service attendant. We look forward to your next stay.
