No frills motel. Doesn’t have fridge in room, there is a common microwave by the ice machines. Staff was very friendly and polite. No deposit required for rooms.

For the price all was good, was cold and furnace did not work, that aera of the remodel needed much more looking at.

We went to the desk after check in and asked for hair shampoo and we were directed to a vending machine that was out of order. We figured that was pretty cheap on their part but we figured ok....we missed something. Then we asked for a hair dryer and was told "no problem, just need your ID" which we gave to the check in person to we tough scan again, but she kept it and said we would get it back when we returned the hair dryer. I told that that wasn't going to happen plus how was I supposed to drive to dinner with out it. We have paid a $5 or$10 deposit at some places but never been treated this stupidly. We get to this area every year and this was the most we have ever paid for a room in this town and we'll be looking for a different motel next year for sure. Management needs a slap upside the head.

Got there at 3 to find out my room was not ready and was told that it would take 30 minutes to clean. I was ok with that but not with the response the lady in the front office gave me when I asked the checking was at 3 and I had booked this room one week in advance. She said that it started at 3 but didn't mean that it would be ready at 3 but that check in start at that time but didn't mean I would get a room at that time but any time after that even said it could be 4 so then why say 3 on your website.

Motel 6, as a company overall is a below average hotel. The staff are always acting as if they don't even want to be there. The majority of the rooms are dirty, bathrooms have stains on the walls. You have to pay for wifi. $2.99 or $4.99 for 24 hours. Unfortunately, don't plan on getting any work done, the kids won't be watching anything on the tablet. Why? Cause mom is shopping online and each wireless package only allows 1 device to connect at a time. Ridiculous!!! The only decent thing about the Motel 6 company is that they allow you to check-in at 6am on the day of your reservation. Which means you can take advantage of a free morning....

around midnight we were woke up by pounding on our door, and a guy yelling to open the door. Then the guy got even more aggressive, kicking the door and I'm guessing throwing himself at it. we could actually see light coming through the space around the door when he rammed into it. Scary. I almost thought he might get in-deadbolt and metal slide thing on and all. He went away for a min and I called the front desk (I know, I should have just called the police I wasn't thinking it through at the time) and anyway the front desk clerk seemed to already be aware of the problem because they said yes I'm trying to go out and walk the property now. he wasn't outside any more and we were pretty startled so I left it at that. My boyfriend ended up pushing luggage against the door before he was comfortable enough to attempt to go back to sleep. In the morning when I went to go talk to the manager about what had happened, I couldn't open the door it was so badly bent! I had to pull and pry my way out of the room. Absolutely ridiculous.. and yet the woman on duty could not have been less shocked or even concerned. The GM? Same apathetic attitude. Ended up saying that nothing was put in the communication log by the night person and nothing on cameras, insinuated that it might have been someone we knew and therefore our fault! She ended up refunding that night, but told us we needed to check out!! The most absurd, insulting customer service experience I've ever had anywhere.

This hotel was dirty, horrible staff. The room was freezing at night as the air was preset, no way to turn it off and no heat. we were told the heat wouldn't be turned on until next month ( December). Would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

I was a little nervous about staying here due to it's location, but security cameras, lighting, and the vigilance of the staff put me at ease. It's not in the best part of Mesa, but it is very well-lit , and I ( 56 y/o fat white guy) did not fear for my safety at all.
