The lady that checked us in was super friendly. The location was convenient as we were going to a Padres spring training game and the hotel is right across the street from the stadium. The hotel was clean and the area with the pool was quiet and pretty.

The area around this property had great shopping, dining, and activities. The staff were friendly and attentive. The property itself was terrible. The key readers on exterior doors did not work, the key for the room had to be done 3x and still did not always open the door, the ice bending was broken, the room was dirty. Black spots on pillows, rust on all hinges, bathtub damaged covered with a plastic mat, the vents were covered in dust and rusty. Dogs were allowed and barked at night. For such a nice area I wouldn’t expect such a gross hotel. I have stayed in others like this that were clean and comfortable so I did not expect this.

Stay somewhere else!

Typically La Quinta's are fine. Reasonably prices and decent places to stay. However, this one, the overall cleanliness of the room was one of the worse I've seen. I had to ask the hotel to send someone to clean the bathroom after seeing a wad of hair on the floor by the toilet. And that's all they did. The baseboards and all the trim around the doors were completely fifthly with dirt, dust and fingerprints. I would never stay here again!

This stay was an adventure. The hotel lobby and breakfast area was heavily fragranced and generated a significant headache. Breakfast was off the agenda in order to avoid a headache. The back door security reader did not work, which then required going to another door and a long walk down another heavily fragranced space. Luckily, the room itself was not fragranced. The water heater went out! And they handled that very well.

We'll be back! Nice Hotel.

Hotel experience was pleasant overall. We had a couple of issues though: on Monday evening the hot water went out so we couldn't get a nice shower. Also, the dryer in the guest laundry was VERY inefficient. It took 2+ hours to dry each load (we only had 2 loads). Otherwise, we were happy. Breakfast was great, plenty of variety. The Lady managing the dining room and food was very sweet. She kept everything neat and tidy and food replenished!

It's decent for the price with a free breakfast. The staff were all wonderful and friendly. It is an older hotel, air conditioner works, the accept pets. It's older and a bit run down but the pool and hot tub were decent.

Christmas time stay.

We were put out of our room at 4:30 -5:30 am due to a fire alarm to a boiler fire. The bathroom light didn’t work. Floor carpet wasn’t very clean. Breakfast was good. Rarely saw anyone at the lobby counter. Not sure when my $150 deposit would be returned. Condition of facility is needing a upgrade.
