The property was amazing tons of things for family and friends to do. The host was the best and very accommodating any question I asked they responded within 10 minutes. Very safe and quiet neighborhood I would definitely recommend a stay here!

Great experience!!

I seen the reviews on this place before booking so I was a little worried but the owner was great! House was beautiful and clean when I got there I paid an extra $100 for the pool to be heated and it was wonderful! Hot tub was good too the basketball court was cool the ball was a little low on air but there was a air pump to pump it back up I definitely used the grill a lot and it worked great food came out good I also LOVED the pool table definitely one of the reasons why I booked this home had lots of fun with it with my friends the kitchen was loaded with things you would need plates and bowls cups etc they had lots of towels and extra sheets everything went perfect for my birthday and the host has great Communication great people I will definitely be booking again!

Weekend stay

This property was listed in the higher price range per night, so we expected it to be a nice and well kept rental. We travel three times a year and are very familiar with VRBO pricing so we usually know what to expect according to the price we pay for the rental.. not this time. First, when we got there I could tell that it had not been thoroughly cleaned for a while, dust on ledges, bed frames, windowsills. The AC had not been turned on prior to arrival and it was 105 degrees out. The inside of the house was 89 degrees, was stifling hot until middle of the night. All bedding, rugs, and towels were white originally… not kept up well as the rugs were really dirty and stains on bedding and towels. The backyard looks awesome in the pictures posted.. not so much when you get there. Looks run down, outdoor furniture very dirty, bottom of the hot tub was covered in dirt, and the pool went from 3 feet deep to 10 feet deep within a matter of steps, which I didn’t care for having young children with. Pool was not marked with depth so no way of knowing before getting in. If our vacation had been longer than three nights I would have cancelled the rental and moved to a new one. This rental is worth maybe $200 a night at best.

Ok…could be great but needs some changes

As two families who have traveled extensively and rented many VRBOs in the last 10+ years, I think we have a firm understanding of what was great and what was not great about our experience I would like to start off by saying that the outside of the home was lovely. We enjoyed the pool immensely, and our children enjoyed the putting green and the basketball hoop. We also did get a chance utilize the grill, which worked perfectly. That being said, there were some issues that I think are worth mentioning. 1. A heated pool is mentioned in the listing description 10 times but at no point does it say that we have to pay a fee to have it heated for arrival. I wasn’t going to argue over the $100 when you sent me the initial request for funds for heating the pool, but I think that it is extremely unprofessional to spring it on people the day before they are scheduled to start their stay in your home. 2. The hot tub never got above about 86°. Even when we tried to turn the thermostat down to get it warmer, it never came up to temperature. This was extremely disappointing as it would’ve been nice to use on some of the cooler evenings. 3. There were multiple broken golf clubs on the green. We were only able to utilize a few. 4. One of the cornhole boards was completely destroyed. It wouldn’t stay up in the position that was needed to play and so we didn’t really get to play it much at all. The only way we could play is to throw the bags until it collapsed (due to one leg totally broken) and then start over. 5. You actually stopped communicating with me after my request to have a basketball delivered. We finally did find the basketball (it was in the neighbor’s yard next door) and it took us basically breaking into their yard to get it back because they were never home. In the meantime of me asking you for a new basketball and finally discovering it in the neighbors backyard, I did purchase two and had them Shipt delivered to the house so that our kids could utilize the basketball area. Inside of the house, things were a bit more rough. We had multiple issues, one of which I think you should recognize as most likely a fire hazard. 1. We were unable to control the thermostat. I had reached out to you and asked you about fixing it, and you did say that you would have a maintenance person come to check on it, but by the time we realized it was actually not working our stay was almost over. At night the house was extremely hot, so much so that

In need of some maintenance

The photos are true to the appearance of the house, however there was definitely some disappointment with our stay. The positive: Sabrina was great at communicating and very responsive. The house is located close to stores and places to eat, as well as near some tourist destinations. The opportunities: There were many maintenance issues. The listing shows a beautiful yard with pool, hot tub, putting green, bags/corn hole, basketball, and a propane fire pit and grill. The pool was great, but the hot tub did not get to over 86 and the plug did not look “to code”. The putting green had broken golf clubs, the bags/corn hole were ripped/broken and there were over grown weeds around the fire pit, which made it nearly impossible to sit and enjoy the fire pit. Additionally, no directions were left on how to appropriately light the fire pit, or what remotes controlled lighting outside. The neighbor also is not a fan of basketball during the day, which was one of our only forms of entertainment for a 12yr old. Inside the house, the rooms looked picture perfect, however there was a broken dresser in one bedroom. The bathroom shower glass is not appropriately sealed and water leaks from both the tub/shower and walk in shower, creating a very dangerous and unexpected slippery floor, which also injured one family member. We used rolled towels to prevent leaks and for safety. Which then created issues with having enough towels for the pool and shower. Additionally, the listing states early check in can be arranged if available, I reached out well in advance to understand what our options could be and if it is available. We were told depending on if a guest was staying the night before/checking out or on when the cleaning crew would be done we could maybe check in early. After several attempts the day of we were informed we would not be able to check in since the cleaning crew did not communicate when they had left. We sat in front of the house for an hour at 1 pm, the cleaning crew was never there. Eventually we went to lunch to kill time until 4:00pm. Also upon entering, we found long black hair all over the floor, on towels, and bedding. I don’t believe cleaning took place the day we arrived but potentially in advance. Overall, we made the best of our trip with what we had but for the amount of money we paid for the space it was definitely not worth it and concerning that property checks or standards are not met regularly evaluated.
