There is no planet where this is a 4 star hotel. Very old and dated hotel. Only gave it to stars and it was at least clean and the bed was comfortable. Using the shower caused a flood in the bathroom due to the water collecting on the tub ledge which was then directed on the floor and then very unsafe and slippery. The safe for valuables was a metal receptacle with no locking device. The bar was a fridge with nothing in it except water so I grabbed a couple in the night. I was asked then if I took any thing from “the bar” and was surprised to be charged 50 baht for the water. There is a lounge/ restaurant which served poor quality drinks so don’t bother with cocktails . I ordered a strip loin med rare which quite tough and not good flavour and salmon steak my partner had was just okay. Thai food here we had for brunch was pretty good though. There is a live band in the lounge which was laughably bad complete with a very noticeable out of tune piano

Everything is good, location, cleanliness, staff, food, price. It could have been perfect if there was accessible washroom. So handicap people can use washroom.

The staff at the Topland Hotel was extremely helpful during my stay. They gladly stored my mountain bike in the storage room in the lobby. I highly recommend the Topland Hotel if you happen to find yourself in Phitsanulok.

Rather tired hotel

Large room with reasonable facilities. However, decor somewhat out of date and in need of a facelift. Breakfast rather poor with uninterested staff and mediocre food. Hotel surrounded by unfriendly road system - not too good for pedestrians. But relatively cheap.

One night was enough

Staff was great. We needed joining room and they made it happen. The room was on the top floor great view. The room is in dire need of renovation. Everything works but carpet is stained , walls crying for attention. Shower water temp fluctuate with everyone's flush. The restaurant need a new cheif. Food was ok it matched the price. Lobby bar was good. The nightclub was good for the younger crowd. Overall a 3/5 is for the hotel 5/5 for staff trying to make up for the facility.

Central location in Phitsanulok

Good location and excellent staff especially Thong Suk in the restaurant and the bell captain during daytime hours. Older hotel but very well maintained. My second stay within 2 years...good food in restaurant with reasonable prices. Next to Wat Yai Temple and 2 blocks from a beautiful riverside walk.

Very good choise

Excellant location, but not view to the river. The hotel is realy nice, but as it happens almost all over Thailand, the have a problem with their english. Service is great and finaly I think is a very good choise. 10 minutes by foot to the night bazar and right next to road goes straight to Sukotai.
