A life leaves traces: traces of where you have been, what you have seen, what you collect and what you value. A house is a trace of a life, and rightly so my house shows all the traces of my life. So in every corner and on every wall you will find a trace that has left a mark on my life. My house is a 270 year old villa filled with antiques and memorabilia in a small village with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms and two sofa beds in the living room, tastefully renovated to modern standards. This is more than a boutique hotel but a virtual museum of vintage items and antiques and certainly not a novotel listing.

Weekly bookings from Wednesday to Wednesday will give you one glorious weekend to enjoy the specialities of the region. Private pool for your use only heated by a solar panel Calm, beautiful riverside setting in a small village, yet minutes from the heart of the Dordogne, the Medoc and the medieval jewel St. Emilion, which offers countless wine tastings, shops, restaurants, galleries.

The area is a vacationer's dream and offers unlimited activities for the whole family: fishing, boating, swimming, bird-watching, tennis, golf, horseback riding, night markets and canoe rentals. Ready for more sight-seeing? We are only one hour away from Bordeaux with all of the wineries of the Medoc pennisula and minutes from the picturesque villages of St Foy La Grande and the bastide town of Duras. Close by is Bergerac a picturesque medieval town on the banks of the river Dordorgne, with an excellent selection of cafes, restaurants (foie gras, truffles, duck, walnuts and wine), shops, and galleries. The Dordogne is overflowing with history. We are just over one hour from the prehistoric caves. Step back in time and experience the mystic, especially the magnificent sound and light show of the last battle of the 100 years war when this English owned land reverted to the French. This house has 4 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 10. Four more if the two double sofa beds in the lounge are used.
In the first bedroom, you will find a double bed.
In the next bedroom, there is a double bed.
The third bedroom contains a double bed.
The fourth bedroom contains 4 single beds


There are 2 bathrooms plus one toilet.
The first bathroom has a toilet and sink and a bathtub and is en suite with bedroom 1
The next bathroom has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.
The third downstairs bathroom has a toilet
Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.


House Rules:
- Check-in time is 5pm and check-out is 10am.
- Smoking is not allowed
- All pool parties must be moved inside after 22.30 to respect the neighbours
- There are on-site parking facilities available at the property for ONE car. Other parking is on the quai below the house, at the mayor's office, at the bridge, and at the church all within easy walking distance of less than 50 meters.
- Pets are NOT allowed at the property.
Best rentals are Wednesday to Wednesday to have weekend for local activities
