This hotel is good to stay over for a night, is more a hotel for working people. Staff is friendly and rooms are standard. 4stars are on the place. Big parking is gratis. Close to Assisi a place word to visit.
I like the location of this hotel where it is so convenient for tourist to explore the lovely old town. However, the room itself had been decorated in a style that appears "dated" to me. Old furnishing, curtain with wrinkles, floral bedsheets (instead of plain white bedsheets as provided by international hotel chain) did not seem attractive to me. Thank God their bathroom was modern and spacious enough with bathtub.
My wife and I recently stayed at the property while visiting Italy as part of a tour group. We spent two nights here. Close to Assisi where we spent our time. This hotel is nothing special. Very average decor. Not close to really anything that you would want to visit. Breakfast was average. If I were looking for a hotel in this area, I would look elsewhere that has a better location.
Was in the circular building. Good location to visit local towns Perugia and Assisi. Quite old room and basic gym. Thin walls. Bring swimming cap for swimming pool as is a requirement. Breakfast was a decent continental affair with no cooked food. Parking plentiful and free. Decent WiFi (for a hotel).
A lovely old town, well kept and very clean. Fantastic place to explore old buildings and how the old blends with the needs of the current families living in these ancient properties (look out for remains of old arches and windows, almost perfectly blended with the new openings, and vice-versa). Perugia's old town is on a hill - expect multiple climbing sessions to access it- or make use of the free escalators that can be found at the bottom of the hill and will take you all the way up. We visited during the Jazz festival by pure coincidence, but were told by locals that this is a lively place throughout the year.
I stayed one night in this hotel traveling around Italy. The hotel had been chosen by the travel agency which organized the tour. The hotel is located near the highway. It was Sunday 1May Orthodox Easter. They prepared a menu for us but the service was very slow. Food was ok, breakfast nothing special. The room was so cold!!!!!! They told me that till October there was no heating. I slept with my jacket.
Comfortable and convenient, but somewhat dated, hotel that I booked for my trip to Ponte San Giovanni, a neigbourhood of Perugia. Check-in/out was quick and efficient, my room was ready at around 10 am and a typical Italian (continental) breakfast was included in the room rate. Even though the hotel is near the highway, noise was not an issue and the location near an industrial zone of Ponte San Giovanni with several workshops and offices proved easy to find and convenient for my trip. After work it took less than 15 minutes to drive to the Perugia downtown parking area at Piazza Partigiani, from where a system of escalators and steps takes you within minutes to the pedestrian zone near Piazza Italia in the old part of Perguia.
My husband and I were driving around Italy to designated locations that were planned in advance. Had one unplanned evening and decided that we really wanted to experience Assisi and Lake Trasimeno. This was a perfect spot!! The bed was perfectly comfy! The pool was nice and warm and we enjoyed the sauna as well. The man at the front desk was very gracious and helpful!! The room and bathroom were nicely appointed!! The breakfast buffet was adequate. Very happy that we chose this hotel. Easy to find off the highway.
The trip was a birthday present for me from my husband. He strategically picked it because it's close to Assisi, Foligno and Spoleto and it has a Spa which was a plus but quiet a disappointment for us because the sauna was really small and the Turkish bath(?) was not so clean, it had body hair all over. In fairness though, the pool was ok and not crowded and it has a jacuzzi on the side. So very relaxing... Staff at the reception were real nice and helpful. Breakfast is great, I love the food they served especially the cakes and tarts. The lady that was in charge was accommodating and friendly. Our room is ok. It was clean and We had a big bed and a bathtub. The hotel a has restaurant and they had a dinner offer on a fix price basis and it wasn't bad at all. I highly suggest it. All in all our stay there was a good one...
It is good place to stop on the way to somewhere. Old fashion style hotel. Room no too large and good renewed bathroom. Restaurant good service but food just ok, nothing special. Breakfast is basic but enough to meet any thing you want. I didn't visit the gym or saunas but it is a good option if you bring your stuff for working out.
