This was the most disgusting place, dirty not sure why the health inspectors have not closed it down. It is shameful that they think it is ok to rent these rooms out. The little there was in the room was either broken or dirty. There is no parking available.

If your after a bargain place to stay close to Scarborough Beach then this will do the job. I arrived at Scarborough by bus and didn’t have far to walk for the apartments. You do check in at SunMoon Boutique Resort but this was easy enough and they then told us where to find the budget apartments. We were already aware that the double room booked was a shared bathroom which was fine. We got into the room and it was pretty much as expected, cheap, standard accomodation. Worn in areas, masking tape holding toilet roll holders back on etc. However this double room cost approx $50 a night, cheaper than a private room in a hostel and comparatively similar. It is a short walk to the beach front, cafes, shops and everything you might need. The room had a tv, aircon and even a small fridge which came in handy. Overall, if you are expecting luxury then don’t book. If you are expecting cheap, hostel type accomodation and it’s just somewhere to rest your head then book it.

We went with two 8 year old boys and it was a great place as there was nothing they could damage! The beds were really comfortable and other than a few dills doing burnouts on the Friday night across the road it was fairly quiet!

We booked an apartment for a night for my friend's bridal shower as we needed a quiet place near the beach to do it. It was a very simple 2-bedroom apartment which had very basic facilities yet functional. I do admit it needs updating, but it was all right for the price. The location is really good too. It's close to the beach and other establishments in the area. A supermarket is close by if you need anything. The Wi-Fi was fine too. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

We have stayed here several times. It is dated and facilities are basic but clean and adequate. For a family of 4 it is nice and spacious, reasonably priced especially for a self contained apartment. It's located a short walk from the beach, supermarket and takeaway, also several local cafes and bars. It can be confusing to find the first time as the reception is at the SunMoon next door. Since we haven't had any issues can't really comment on the service beyond basic check in / check out. Parking wise, we have a large 4x4 that doesn't fit in the majority of undercover car parks so at least we don't have to worry about that, there are some spots down the bottom, we have never been up the steep ramp where the rest of the parking is so not sure how much room is up there. We keep coming back because for a family of 4 it is affordable, self contained and a good location.

I had browsed several accommodation locations and had chosen Scarborough Apartments as it had been one of the more affordable, child-friendly, yet comfortable options in the area. When I arrived and saw our room I was instantly disappointed!! Instead of finding the stylish and modern apartment pictured on the Scarborough Apartment website I instead was immediately told to pay a $100 bond before I was permitted to have our room key, then was told to park at the top of an impossibly steep driveway which my wheelchair converted van could not drive up without scraping the rear of the vehicle. Despite these inconveniences I still was anticipating being welcomed by a very clean, stylishly furnished apartment that matched the photos online. Instead I was greeted by a large, sparsely-furnished area in which the furniture pieces were all tacky, mismatching MDF items with scrapes or chunks missing. The kitchen drawers were not on runners and were misaligned, the cupboards were lined with wall paper that hsd lifted and was peeling off, the taps were decades old and the window blinds also appeared aged and were crooked. Furthermore, upon moving some furniture in search of power points I found many areas to be filthy and clearly not having been cleaned properly for a considerable amount if time. Generally, the whole place seemed 'tired' and sorely in need of renovation. I have recently moved into a 1960s era home which has had little work done to it since being built and yet our new residence feels more welcoming and is in better condition than this apartment. For around the same price of other much more inviting and more attractively decorated rooms without the extra charges for a baby cot, wifi etc., I would definitely choose a different hotel next time we wanted to stay in this area!

We arrived after the reception was closed, however there is a phone to use to gain access to the safe on the wall to get your room key. We were on the third floor and, as the lift closes at 9pm we had to lug heavy suitcases up to the room. Glad we were not disabled or could not lift heavy items. The room was very tired especially the bathroom and overall the rooms need updating soon please We did not eat in the restaurant so unable to comment. We stayed for 3 nights, the staff were very helpful and could not be faulted. The location is great for a beach holiday but not for visiting the city of Perth as you had to catch either a bus or taxi. Would not recommend or stay here again, sorry.

On line pictures look nice but that is about it. Difficult to find as the shared reception with another business does not easily identify as Scarborough. First apartment had no TV remote and a window that would not seal the road noise out so they moved us. Next apartment had a working TV but no lighting in one of the bedrooms so we replaced it ourself. Car parking is up a very tight narrow ramp that clearly many have either dropped off of the last bit or scraped there car. Should have read the other less than glowing reports before booking. Rubbish around the back is disgusting, pool is empty and looks run down and your view is straight out to the laundry. Not a great experience.

The apartments here are beyond basic. The photos on the Internet don't bare any resemblance the 'resort' we booked into. The place was smelly had an empty pool complete with plastic bags at the bottom and a shopping trolley nearby. It was called Scarborough apartments when we book so hard to find as its now sunmoon. The staff are ok - it's not their fault that the place is awful

Stay only if you have no other choice to was very cold with not enough blankets no would take some thinking to search bathrooms .i will not recommend it to anyone. Rest is up to you.
