we have stayed here a few times now and had a few different rooms. Rooms are all clean and tidy and well thought out. Walking distance to some good restuarants. Staff are friendly and lovely and the grounds are always clean and tidy Highly recommended
In my apartment with a spa bath, the shower was located over the spa. It is recommended in a bath side notice that it is best to enter the spa seated. However, this is still quite awkward and I found getting into the spa to use the shower a bit of a climb. If you are elderly or have restricted mobility I would recommend asking for a room where the shower is not located over a spa bath.
Easy place to park with secure parking behind locked gates. We had room 2 which is on the second floor at the back very quiet with no traffic noise. The apartment was large enough with separate bedroom and ensuite with a washer/drier. Close to shops and places to eat. would stay again
We stayed in 2 bedroom appartment, plenty of room. Rooms where large and appartment was very comfortable. View from the balcony was beautiful overlooking the river. Staff very pleasant, great check in and out. Definitely worth staying here
Great spot, easy walk to bars and restaurants, lovely sea views. Room clean tidy and well presented, great heated pool and on-site restaurant open for breakfast lunch and dinner most days. Spa bath always a plus when away.
Stayed on 2 visits recently. Pros - good location, close to CBD, easy parking, walking distance to supermarket and a small cluster of restaurants - nice pool area and spa - reasonable value for money Cons - on our second visit the room was extremely poorly maintained - window wouldn't close properly in second bedroom, toilet in ensuite leaking and constantly refilling with water, the apartment smelt extremely musty but impossible to leave the windows open for any period of time due to freeway and train noise, tumble drier barely functional (took 3hrs plus to dry and made continual grating sounds) and dishwasher not emptying powder from tray and as a result not washing well. I admit we did not escalate these issues as after moving all our bags we needed to get the kids to sleep and not all of these were evident initially. If there was only 1 or even two of these issues I would put this down to being one of those things but this seems more like poor maintenance. The in between stuff - first apartment quite dark being below ground level, second was better being upstairs - noise ok on side street, double glazing helped with apartment facing the freeway but second bedroom not double glazed - first night big group with at least 20-24 people in the spa, water overflowing and drinking from glass bottles without any intervention noted in the period we were in the area -kitchens poorly designed and a bit cramped in some rooms more than others Would we stay again? Short answer possibly but would definitely look at more up to date reviews to see if things have improved.
The price, location and standard of our apartment ( 2 bedroom with loft ) exceeded my expectations! The pool was a big hit with the kids and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. Will definitely recommend and stay again!
The spa and location was great but I was very disappointed we were not informed of the noise from the highway or the stairs to get to the apartment. I made numerous calls before our stay and requested a low floor as I was visiting my 80 year old dad and wanted to take him there for a visit but the stairs made this impossible. The apartments are quite dated for 4 star and the climb into the shower in the ensuite is definitely not safe. Overall disappointed but none the less we had a great time in Perth
Family with adult children. So we had a 3 bedroom apartment with loft. Didn't use the loft. Beds good, king size. Kitchen very narrow but well stocked. Could do with some plastic containers. Air con only worked in main lounge, bedrooms need ceiling fans. Pool and spa excellent as we're staff. Despite double glazing we were next to a freeway.
Check in on a Tuesday afternoon ...... after a long day .. needed a beverage and time to chill out ... Sorry , the Bar is closed until Thursday evening .... OK...... so how about dinner ..... same problem not open until Thursday evening . The bar and restaurant are not controlled by the Hotel .... I cant call it a resort for fear of insulting other real resorts ...... Double glazing that doesn't work ... not sure why ... airconditioning that doesn't work ...... what was good ................... checking out !!
