While the rooms were reasonably comfortable, they were very average. One air conditioner to cool the whole apartment and bedrooms is just not enough. We asked for a room with a view of the river, but there were large trees in the way, so we were unable to see the river anyway. It was a budget quality apartment with a not so budget price. Location was quite good
I rang and ask questions concerning parking prior to making a reservation. I was informed by a lady that they could accommodate my truck (14 tonne) in secure on site parking. So following this conversation I booked 8 nights on line. Upon arrival there was no on site secure parking for my truck. I was basically called a liar when staff replied, “No one here would have told you that.” The room was simple, but clean. 8 nights was classed as a long term stay, so our room wasn’t serviced daily. The movie channel didn’t line up with the movie guide provided, which was frustrating. On a positive note, close to the freeway, ferry into Perth and a short walk to nice restaurants in South Perth.
I stayed here for 2 nights in December. The room was clean, tidy and well equipt. Great value for money. There was a washing machine and full kitchen, the room was a good size. The aircon is located in the lounge room though I left it on at night and used a pedestal fan in the bedroom which kept the room cool. The gate is locked from 8pm so the carpark is sercure which I liked. I would definitely stay here again.
No air conditioning in the bedroom yet we are in Perth, rooms could do with a freshen up, but they are tidy, location is good right by the water parking is a little tight but plenty out the front for visitors, The property doesn’t have a swimming pool which is a shame as Perth is very hot, I thought that would be a no-brainer, the fridge and freezer in the apartment is full size which is good no TV in the bedroom only one in the lounge, shower pressure is okay shower head is ok, The staff are very helpful and front reception is handy, gate opening hours is good. You can get breakfast delivered that was on time the selection s are average and the quality of the food is only average, Fairly handy location to local shops and a couple of restaurants not too many otherwise you’ll need to drive into the CBD.
Its a decently priced accommodation in the city area. It is close to king's park and james mitchell park. The service was good but the apartment had a defect in the toilet. The toilet showerhead could not stop dripping water and when we called the reception, no one answered. The next day the woman at the reception said that she would get someone to fix it, but still no one did. It was extremely hard to sleep because of the sound caused by the water dripping. The room itself is pretty clean.
I think three and a half is a fairer score. We drove up from Bunbury to catch an early morning flight, these apartments suited our requirements. In all fairness the apartment was large enough, it had a full kitchen a dining room, lounge and two bedrooms. Considering there was bedding for 5, there was not enough seating in the lounge for everyone, the TV was very tiny for the size of the room. The beds were pretty good. You couldn't open any windows in the master bedroom and it was quite stuffy. Overall not bad accommodation but not the Ritz.
We just spent 4 nights at Waterside apartments including a Saturday night. We were really pleased with the size and facilities of the apartment and never had any issues with noise, either from other guests or from the freeway which is quite close. The parking was a bit tight but security was good and we were able to use public transport (ferry) to get to the city. The ferry is only about 10 mins walk away as is Mends street for eating, The staff were very friendly and helpful especially as we needed a late check in. Selecting accommodation is always tricky but we would have no hesitation in staying here again and recommend it highly.
The outer walls are full of cracks, the room is basic but most of all there is no reception after 5pm. The callibre of people are bogans. No safety here at all. people fighting until early hours and NO SECURITY OR RECEPTION. Pick your game up or else you will crumble, theres enough places to stay in perth without your premises.
Stayed for 1 night and will honestly never stay here again. Apparently my card was declined (I don't understand why, it had been confirmed and had plenty of funds on it) and they didn't bother to tell me. As I had family staying in the same complex, I was able to get the key from the lockbox (after booking another hotel last minute - $170 down the drain, thanks for that). The room was quite shabby, and I don't understand the logic behind having one tiny set of toiletries for a room booked for 4 adults.Or the logic behind having 3 sugar sachets and so much sweetener. When we went down to the reception the next morning to find out what had gone wrong the night before and advise that we were very unhappy about it, we were told that we could pay on Monday after a discussion with the manager about the failure to notify that there had been a payment issue. Less than an hour later they demanded the payment immediately. This is the absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had, it doesn't ever deserve 1 point. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Located on mill point scenic road next to the busy high way..great view of the Swan river. Walls and floor are thin and we can hear the second floor people when they walk or hop around. Not a noisy feeling but your don't want to hear all those activities trust me. It was raining the 4 days we stayed and the only way to open the front gate (close at 9pm-6am) is to get off the car and walk uncovered to key in the codes so I was a little wet and annoy off the layout of the place. Most parking spots exposed to the rain the same way. Yes I should bring an umbrella from Asia..checkout strictly at 10am seems to be a new norm I dislike. Must rent a car if you stay here because there is nothing within 1.5kms to hop on. The cafe strip started from the BP gas station and the Swan river front with the breath taking view is 2kms away. Service? There is no room cleaning for the 4 days we were there(policy) . No attempt from any person to " service" us. Although expected being Australia, it is a shame they didn't do more to try to make you returned.
