This is the third week in a row we are welcomed with friendly helpful staff. There is always a bowl of water and a mat for our wee dog And it gets cheaper the more we use it , dinner downstairs have a pint get a lovely breakfast . Easy acess to Perth towm centre and the A9 .
Chosen for location (en route from Inverness to Newcastle) the hotel accommodation was good - comfortable room, well soundproofed - and a good restaurant next door. The only issue was the literal coach party that was also staying at the hotel - having been told at check in that they’d be breakfasting at 8am we were encouraged to eat at 9am but in fact that’s when the coach party actually turned up to eat. The kitchen staff did a valiant effort to keep up but we ended up not being able to avail ourselves of the cooked breakfast and also were then late leaving for the rest of our journey. I’m not sure that the hotel staff could have done things very much differently, apart from perhaps marshalling the breakfast area better and making sure that other guests were not disadvantaged by the large party. All guests should receive equal thought.
It was cold in November but this hotel in Perth was warm and welcoming. All staff were extremely lovely and pleasant. The hotel is a wee distance from town centre but the good thing is there is plenty of parking which doesn't cost. The other central hotels have costly parking charges. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel door which will take you into the town centre. The hotel was very quiet although appearred to be busy. The rooms were of a good standard and very warm which we were welcome of as it was a cold couple of nights. Free wifi throughout with a strong signal. Varied selection of tv channels. Good comfy beds witha choice of soft or firm pillows. The breakfast which is included in the price was very good with choice of cornflakes, granola, porridge, yogurt, fruit. There was bread, croissants, muffins and a toaster also baps for you to grab and go if you are short on time. Hot items were suasage, scrambled egg, beans and bacon. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate for drinks. Lots of choices to indulge at breakfast. There is a restaurant/pub next door, a petrol station across the road selling Marks and Spencers food and a shopping centre a 10 mins walk with Poundland,Tiso, Aldi, Marks and Spencers Foodhall. Good hotel and a good visit to perth.
Stayed here for 1 night after a visit to Stirling Castle. Very comfortable stay...good breakfast options included in the price. Would recommend highly. Bus stop across the street if you want to take a short bus trip into town.
We use this hotel regularly as a great one night stop as we head from Yorkshire to the highlands or back. The welcome is always warm and efficient and the rooms are ideal , clean comfortable and also dog friendly . The hotel had had a significant make over since our last visit and breakfast was also improved. The holiday inn express range always offer good value rooms in excellent locations.
Stayed here for 1 night on Friday 27.10.2017 - Helpful desk staff - Cosy room and decent bathroom - Nice breakfast. Get there early though or you might have to wait - Handy having a restaurant next door and a petrol station over the road
Very nice and clean rooms, modern and. Well equipped, could not ask for anything more , tv, iron, heater, hair dryer , study desk and lamp ,basically my room had everything I needed.Good service by friendly staff made my stay even more enjoyable. absolutely enjoyed my stay in this hotel and would highly recommend it .
Stayed here as was visiting the Enchanted Forrest at Pitlochry. Check in was very good and I think it was John B who checked us in and made us aware of everything we needed to know. Room was on the small side we booked to stay in a double room with two double beds but it was more of a twin room no way were these double beds, also stated there was a tub/shower combo when it was just a shower. Basic facilities in the room tea/coffee maker and iron board with iron, that was a good touch as I hate asking hotels for this every time I stay somewhere, the tv was very small aswell. Breakfast choice was actually very good but was very crowded in the morning but was informed about posters dotted around about best time to get breakfast but it was more like a canteen feel as had to sit beside other couples etc, not the best but it was a small place. Everything else was good, would maybe try somewhere else next time I visited Perth but I wouldn’t be put off staying here.
Second time at this hotel, plenty on offer for breakfast, have started a small selection for 24 hour room service as well, accommodation comfortable, clean, every amenity, the soap is lovely great aroma, lots of counter space, fantastic shower, firm beds so good for ppl with bad back, only item of negativity is toddlers can't reach the taps in the bathroom for after going to bathroom and trying to wash hands so perhaps offer a wee stool depending on age of kids. Apart from that can't fault it, would return again for easy access to Enchanted Forest knowing we will have enjoyable stay.
Stayed one night. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spotless, very quiet and comfortable. Parking was easy. Inclusive breakfast was excellent quality and quantity. Amazing value for money.
