We loved our stay in this unit. We spent the week prior in Destin, had a much nicer view, but this place felt more relaxing. The staff are friendly, the facility and amenities are second to none. The Beach Club sets the bar pretty high and what we always compare other vacation units to. LOVE the indoor pool for inclimate weather and the outdoor heated pool for cooler/windy days.
Pensacola Beach is one of our most favorite destinations. The restaurants located in the surrounding areas never disappoint. I love that you have options to dine while enjoying a day on the beach instead of having to get dressed and go find somewhere to eat, they have it all right there.
The bridge was still out, but the drive back and forth wasn't nearly as awful as everyone leads you to believe. We made multiple trips into Pensacola while staying on the beach...well worth the time. I love this area and can't say enough good about it. I will mention that a lot of the places on the boardwalk are closed or under repair because there doesn't seem to be enough business to keep them going which was disappointing to see, but it didn't ruin anything for us.
