The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was immaculate. However, the carpet in the hallway could use a good cleaning, but I understand that recruiting enough staff is very difficult these days.

Our last 2 stays we were in rooms that the bottom of the tub was cracked, it didn't cause any water to leak in to the room below. There were hand sanitizer stations that were empty and there was no soap in the men's bathroom in the pool room There was only 1 bulb that worked out of several in the ceiling of the fitness room. Overall it is a decent hotel when paying winter rates.
Good place to stay. Short walk to downtown and eating places.
Location was very convenient
It is right near tons of waterfalls. You can walk into the village for food. There are tons of options.
Great location for exploring the finger lakes region, especially Keuka and Seneca lakes. Convenient to Geneva, Watkins Glen and Hammondsport. The suites at the Microtel are a little bigger than a regular hotel room. Comfortable place to crash.
The young woman working check in was polite, friendly and very accommodating.
I like it closeness to the center of town. It was convenient to get to.
Motel is right in town so very convenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom tiling/grout was missing in places especially in the shower area.

Internet was often very slow when the younger guests were online.
Perfect central location near parks and walking trails. We will be sure to stay here the next time we visit Penn Yan.
