If you travel to Bali you must go to Nusa Penida. And if you go to Nusa Penida you must stay at Coco resort! I don't know where to start. The staff were great, the pool was great, the room was great, the food was great. Everything there was GREAT! I just loved it there!
Room was clean and quiet. Facilities like swimming pool were excellent. Dinner buffet was exellent and cheap! Hotel was located near the beach and local shops and restaurants. But the response of staffs on guest's request was slow.
Overall, it was a good transit hotel, close to shopping and dining (Khrisna, Khrisna Kuliner, etc.). Breakfast offers varieties, I would like all food to be warmed well, the sausage was a bit cold, coffee was good. Dining room (Meliwis Kitchen) is a bit crowded at 'rush hour'. The bathroom smells like sewer (toilet plumbing issue?). Staff were very helpful, no complain there. A downside, the dishes from room service were left for hours (as a matter of fact, overnight) in the hallway, that was not appealing at all and shows inefficiency. Also, found used underwear in the closet (yuck), notified staff and immediately took action - cleaned, disinfected areas, and sent fruit plate as a gesture to apologize (nice, appreciated). Some guests are disgusting!!
The staff are very friendly, the breakfast buffet offers ample choices, everything is fresh and very tasty. The rooms are spacious and kept clean. The beach is beautiful. The Hotel itself seems to be in pretty bad shape though- especially considering it was opened a mere year ago. Everywhere the paint is peeling, things rusty, cushions have spots. The staff seems badly trained. Having stayed at two four-star-resorts in Nusa Dua, which both exceeded the Inaya by far, I would say the Inaya does not deserve the five-star-rating. I wouldn't stay there again.
Beautiful hotel, located close to shopping, food, clubs and tours.
