I booked this room for a full week, and unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. The room had multiple issues from the moment I checked in. The shower had terrible drainage and was essentially unusable due to how broken it was. The floor was damaged, and to make matters worse, I found roaches in the room.
The toilet struggled to function properly—it took three flushes just to get a single piece of toilet paper down. The TV constantly made a loud humming noise, and the louder the volume, the worse the humming got. The HVAC barely worked; it was either freezing or uncomfortably warm with no in-between. The walls were so thin I could clearly hear the neighbors’ TV over my own humming TV.
When I called the front desk asking for maintenance or a different room, I was simply told that no maintenance worker was on the clock. I was not offered a new room, no alternative solution, and no mention of compensation—despite being here for a full week with a non-functioning shower. Thankfully, I have a Planet Fitness membership, or I wouldn’t have been able to shower at all while working long hours.
To top it off, the only thing that helped me fall asleep in this room was the Bible in the drawer so I could pray for some peace and quiet.
Overall, this stay has been unacceptable, and I sincerely hope management takes these issues seriously for the sake of future guests.
