I don't agree with paying over $100 for a room and be charged for parking additionally.
Room was not well cleaned and had previous occupants’ items in the closet. I received a call soon as I left accusing me of taking the previous tenants’ items. I will be making a formal complaint.
The property location is great but the resort is in need of serious renovation. Furniture was old and falling apart, bed mattress and linen were extremely worn, drapes were faded and TV was so small you almost had to sit on top of it. My laptop screen was about the same size. The parking lot was dimly lit and in need of repaving, and wifi was very slow after taking awhile to connect. The housekeepers were nice and helpful and in general the room was clean but I had a suite and was told the regular rooms were totally unacceptable.
I don't like the area and de dorm and don't have food around the billing.
This motel was listed as having 3 stars on Orbitz. That’s extremely incorrect. It should have 1 star. This place was so bad I had to check out after one night and go find an actual 3 star hotel. Truly awful.

It’s a nice little bungalow pretty quiet and quick access to the beautiful beach. Had everything we needed. Clean rooms and spacious. We’ll definitely stay again.

Escaped Hurricane Ian here - so it was good for that. Hotel is very old & dated. Structure needs repairs. It looks like it was “the place” to go years ago but upkeep hasn’t been done for decades. Area restaurants & stores were new & enjoyed them.
My wife and I have been going to this resort for about 12 years. This year since the Covid shutdown was nit as good. There were no facilities to have the breakfast we enjoyed in years past. The mattresses were hard and uncomfortable, they did not provide a good nights sleep. It was just disappointing, because we were used to much better like before Covid. We are considering going elsewhere in the future. The Desk staff wer very nice and need to be commended, the house cleaning staff never really did everything correctly, I don't know if they had proper training because they said they could not understand english very well.
Ac unit sounds like a freight train. Hair frim other guests in tub. Bed old an sinks in. Its not a hotel its a motel. There is a big difference
