"Mar Y Oro exceeded our expectations. The location was exceptional -the beach was pristine-with good snorkeling right there.at low tide it was best. The beach is huge, your stay includes beach lounge chairs and and umbrellas. The room (queen room with patio view) was bigger than expected with a smart TV. The walls in the bathroom (and some outside walls) were covered with shells-(plastic I assume) which very unique. A few were missing here and there, but no big deal. The breakfast was delicious and the dinners here and the so were the dinners-especially the seafood pasta which had as much seafood as it did pasta. The staff were helpful and helped us arrange a boat ride. A pick up and drop off to and from the ferry is included also. iWe would definitely stay there again should we return and highly recommend Mar Y Oro!"

"Clean room, daily room cleaning, filtered water. Mattress too soft. Location very quiet but a bit of a walk from beaches and town center. Kitchen that they didn't want you to use. Nice fruit salad but a somewhat basic breakfast. Beach chairs available for use. "

"There was new staff that were not up to the task for room keeping. We've contacted Cindy, the manager and she was responsive and made sure our stay was comfortable "
