Relaxing waterfront cabin getaway in the Groton State Forest

Come enjoy our cozy log cabin perched just steps from the shores of Peacham Pond. Relax on the spacious deck or next to the wood stove while loons call in the distance. Being next to the Groton State Forest, this vacation getaway offers snowmobiling, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, hiking, ice biking,fishing and hunting. It is also an easy 50 minute drive to Burke and Stowe and Craftsbury ski areas. High speed internet is available at the house but cellular service is 20 minutes away.
The cabin is heated and features a kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a sofa bed, and a coffee maker.

Perfect getaway

Beautiful location on lake. Canoeing, paddle boarding and swimming daily. Mountain biking Mecca for my husband. Neighbors were friendly. Cottage was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. Lovely interaction with owner and his team. We will return next year.

Weekend Stay

The cabin was clean, and the water is right outside the door. The views are beautiful, and it is very quiet. A few items could be updated on the listing such as there is no DVD player, but a Roku device to stream shows and movies. There are no small individual kayaks, but there is a canoe. It is a lovely area of Vermont, and a nice place to stay to get away.

Wonderful, newly renovated house which accommodated us well. Great water access for kayak we brought and canoe on property. Wish there had been more kayaks for us to use. Rowboat too heavy for us to move down the hill

We were in the area to set up and attend our class reunion. This was such a nice relaxing place to get away from the planning and stress of getting everything done.
