This hotel is beautiful! Each room is a work
Of art. Top service. Breakfast is an experience unto itself.
The hotel is worth every penny and we loved every moment!
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is decorated exquisitely, and the staff are very kind and helpful. It’s a great location. The breakfast was exceptional and the valet parking is super handy. Our room had a gas fireplace, which was really special.
The vintage style around the place is quite unique and it's architecture so colorful. Allows guests to experience the real essence of it's town. I really recommend it.
This is such a gem in Patzcuaro. Definitely a destination hotel. The room we stayed in was unbelievable. Staff is incredibly attentive, food is great and they make you feel like home. Couldn't ask for more.
The hotel is half a block from the main square and while the square can be a bustling place at night, at the hotel you don't hear anything.
Will definitely come back
First off this hotel is a great choice. They were accomidating with the parking even though it was a tad bit difficult. Morning breakfast was a let down with service. I do understand English is not the spoken language but having coffee with no fresh milk or cream? Instead they gave you the powdered instant chemicals. Was not a fan of that. Also with the room… beautifully decorated but no privacy. You are only a door away from hearing it all. Was not expecting that but alas that is what you have to put up with. A noice cancelling purchase would be an idea. If you want intimate relations forget it unless you don’t mind everyone hearing you. Clean, friendly staff and beautiful appointed room even though it’s a religious slant to the decor!
We stayed here hooking up with friends who winter here a couple of months. There were no reviews to check when we booked it. The hotel has only been opened 4 months with just 7 rooms. We chose the most expensive and largest. This house has been in a family for centuries and just converted. My guess is from the 1700's as there are books in the library - living room copywrite dates form 1845. I assume much of the furniture and art work were from the family and very old. If you are not into lots of religious art this may not be your place - we loved stepping back in history. Rooms surround a central furnished courtyard open to the sky. Simple fresh breakfast - each morning was different and fresh squeezed juices excellent. No AC - not necessary though can be cold at nights and has gas converted fireplace in each room. The staff was excellent and friendly though English can get you only so far. Break out your Google Translate app! Very quiet due to thick walls and rooms comfortably dark at night. A very good value for the money. Many good small quaint hotels in Patzcuaro and though serendipity I think we got one for the best value.
