Restaurant at the hotel is very good. They even offer room service if you need it. Rooms were clean and well stocked. Hotels architecture and lay out is so pretty. Staff were friendly and helpful. They helped get our bags to our cars because the parking garage was a block away. We didn’t mind as this hotel is downtown and parking is hard to come by. We stayed at a couple different hotels during our vacation and this one was our favorite. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Cabin Feeling !

Very nice ambience, well maintained old hotel, it has a very unique traditional architecture, loved it. A couple of suggestions, it was a very hot weather and the rooms have no A/C nor a fan to move the air around! It’ll be nice to have valet parking as well ! Also, the mattress had a plastic cover which made us sweat a lot with the kind of weather! Overall it was a nice stay

Historic hotel next to outdoor market

Nice old historic hotel with open courtyard. It was chilly in March with no heat, but they did provide additional blankets. Staff was accommodating - let us check in early, ordered cabs, etc. Location is right next to busy outdoor market, but just a short walk to historic square.

On arrival we tried to check in, and the desk clerk said our credit card was blocked! We tried 2 more credit cards, and she said they were blocked. Same with our friends. We called our bank, all were good, they said the problem was at the hotels end. We told the clerk and she replied NO! We paid cash, spent the night in a dirty noisy room and changed hotels in the morning.

average stay, it was very cold with temps in the 50's, no heating in room, requested extra blanket it took about 45 mins to get blanket after a 2nd call. No type of cups or glasses in room, only 1 water bottle, had to ask for 2nd bottle. Room was in a back area with no view at all. only 2 working outlets, bedside lamps had to be plugged in to work, so no outlet available to charge phones. Location was great though.

We had stayed here before and it was great. This time the TV did not work right and we had to have help with it twice. The last night we just went without as it kept saying "no signal". The second day there we had no hot water even though we ran it for about 15 minutes. It is a cold climate and not pleasant trying to take a COLD shower. This was reported but not sure that anything was taken care of in a timely fashion. However, the bed was comfortable but when I asked for one more pillow they told me they had none even though they had lots of empty rooms.
