I stayed here while on my honeymoon; we had the deluxe one bedroom apartment. The staff were always helpful and kind (including a tour of our suite when we first arrived so we knew how everything worked!), helped us arrange day trips, and provided made to order meals for breakfast. The wifi was great in our room; I used the pool once and while it is not fancy and small, it was nice to have alone time by the pool since no one else was using it! The room was fantastic (loved the kitchen, huge bathtub, and balconies!) and it was one block from Jomtien Beach, which is full of great food carts. We definitely recommend this hotel spot!
Original nice interior, clean, big room with cooking facilities, friendly personnel, very comfortable location: 5 minutes of walk to the daytime food market and 10 minutes – to night food market, don't be afraid of street food – it's very fresh and tasty; 10 minutes of songthaew trip to city center/Walking Street (the price is 10 Baht or 0.3 USD); 5 minutes of walk to Jomtien beach, but we would recommend to walk 20 minutes in city center direction to the area of luxury hotels of Cosy Beach – the water is more clean and the beach is more solitary and picturesque. The time interval for breakfast is wide – 7.30 – 10.30 – but if you miss the breakfast they don't provide takeaway option (I don't know whether other hotels in Thailand provide it). Be careful, not only this hotel, but most if not all hotels in Thailand have long list of fines for any damages or violations – so if you happen to see any damages/defects/lack of items in the room it's better to warn the personnel immediately. I have put the stain of mango on the bed sheet and the receptionist asked to pay fine of 300 Baht/10 USD for it, but I proved that this fine is not in their list and they forgave me :)
I enjoyed the big apartment. The style is very Thai, so don't expect a standard room. I liked the place and had a few nice days here. Yes the concrete bathtub us not what you usually see, but it was a nice change from the slippery standard models, where you can hardly stand up. I stayed in the low season, so the price was very reasonable. Cons No elevator,, so if you cannot climb the stairs to 4. Floor,, ask for a room at ground level. Breakfast is standard with only basics. A new market has opened at the end of soi 40 with loud music after midnight. With the balcony doors not sealed too much, you will enjoy the Thai disco music until late. Would still go back, the room was nice and clean. We had a huge space for a good price, but not sure about the high season
We go here regularly (missed last year though) and always enjoy it. Harder work this time as we were up two floors and no lift - maybe because they are doing short term lets of apartments because its so quiet. But usual big clean room. Wifi has improved and is now pretty good. Breakfast is cooked to order which is nice an now you can take as much coffee as you want. Outsie has got greener too.
I've stayed here a few times now and I have to say that the hotel runs well the rooms are clean and tidy and serviced daily. The staff welcome you every morning with a smile and an hello! I can't write enough nice things about the staff they make this hotel! Great work team.
Having read the reviews we accepted that the hotel could either please or disappoint us, it did neither. There were pro's and con's. PRO'S Good location in quiet Soi only 5 min walk to the beach Very large rooms with kitchen area and small but adequate balcony Clean rooms, however each day we did have to 'kill' a few mosquitoes Breakfast had choice of six options with juice and coffee. The best coffee I have had in a Thai hotel for a long time Pleasant and helpful staff, with the exception of bad start with the manager CON'S Rooms and public areas in need of a refresh, particularly the bathrooms Shower had poor water pressure and was constantly running hot and cold Glazed tiled floor throughout the room which was a slip hazard The bed was comfortable however it was on a wooden base that that hash a 12 inch ledge all around which was a hazard to your shins. Even the bell boy warned us about walking into it, which unfortunately I did to my detriment and has the bruise to prove it The corridors on all three floors had used stained mattresses laying against the wall, three in the corridor on our floor Reference to the manager, upon check in we were allocated a room on the ground floor, despite requesting high floor at time of booking. We asked for a higher floor and were met with a very sullen and almost angry manager who muttered several words in Thai then told us the only other room was on the third floor and with no lift WE would have to carry our own luggage. We did with the pleasant help of the only male member of staff. Took two days before we could even get a smile from the manager. There are equally good hotels with similar prices in the area and we would look at these in future.
I saw some good reviews without knowing that they were from sex tourists, that have much lower standard than normal people. visualy the rooms are nice but that's it. I had 2 rooms, first one had 10 years of nails clipping and other Trash around the mattress that is at best a 100$ crap mattress from tesco.. really uncomfortable. the pullout couch had mold. the room smelled of cigarette and the sink in toilet had drops only while the shower was too strong(physically painful). the front door and patio door are semi open so noise and smell have 0 buffers. the second room which was more expensive had a a couch that smelled like fresh diaper pee. they wanted us to pay 500b more per night for an extra mattress to replace the pullout couches.. yet that mattress was just as smelly and worth maximum 1000b.. cheap crap. they use a single 10/1 dsl line in 2017 for the whole hotel, you can barely do anything on it and the WiFi itself kept crashing. A fiber line costs 600b or 20$ per month.. they are saving themselves 2 or 3$ on this. they also only change beddings every 3days. the beach Is awful. the customers are dirty with fresh 40 yo hookers with them in the morning breakfast area. have nothing positive to say.. worst hotel of my life.
Having visited Pattaya on two previous occasions, this hotel is by far the best I have stayed in in terms of location, price, comfort, and amenities. Located steps away from the beach and the hundreds of restaurants, bars, massage parlors, and shops which abound in Jomtien beach. The rooms are enormous and include a balcony, king-sized bed, kitchenette, and giant bathtub. The design and décor of the rooms are very tasteful and beautiful, the bed is extremely comfortable, and all amenties (with the exception of a microwave oven) are included. Breakfast is also included, and while far from spectacular, it’s OK. On the downside, there is no fresh fruit served with the breakfast. Also, the TV in the room is quite old and has no USB port for plugging in an external HD, for those travellers who bring along their own TV shows and movies. On the whole, the staff is very friendly and helpful, with the exception of the afternoon shift. The woman who takes over the front desk in the afternoon is extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. We literally had to fight with her to get an extra blanket. She absolutely refused to give us one. Unbelievable! There is also a resident kitten which has the run of the hotel. So anyone with cat allergies and cat haters would be advised to stay away.
This hotel has very good location (walkable from Jomtien Beach). The room size is awesome. You get comfy bed, kitchen, spacious bathroom. Bfast menu is ok, simple selection. overall this hotel very good for these price
We really feel now that we are part of the family! we have been here now many times! this hotel is quaint and very homely but at the same time very classic rooms and with very warm service. The best rooms are the deluxe rooms. Breakfast is set and simple but enough!
