Hotel was good, but the reception guy was very rude. They take TBH 1000 as deposit and try to find a way to deduct the amount. No complaints against the hotel, room, cleaning girl, breakfast. The only problem was reception people
we had been with family tour from Mumbai and stood here for 3 nights hotel is very vice but must confirm with tour person causes there are 2 different building(wings). They will show the 4 star rated building and will give room in 3 star rated wing saying no rooms available in this new wing. we marked they were giving this new rooms to non- Asian tourist guests and (that's too bad about it). Size of the rooms are decent, comfy, clean n neat but no View at all from any rooms. Service in hotel pretty good but staffs are very rude with guest specially at night hours. Hotel is not near to beach, it takes 15-20 mins walking to reach till beach. It has grand lobby, breakfast spread was good but no more options for vegetarians as we understand its Pattaya. WiFi was very slow. every time u come back to hotel u need to log in again and that's irritating. would not rate the hotel more than 3 Stars.
Generally only an average stay . The hotel is rated at 4 star but whilst this is probably fair for some of the main reception areas and higher grade suites, other areas let it down so I would rate it on average as 3 star. I have stayed in other 4 star hotels in Pattaya so I’m speaking from local comparison. The guests at the time of our staying were apparently mainly Russian, Arab and Indian / Pakistani , but the hotel is situated in a seemingly predominantly Arab area so hardly surprising. A little more clarity on this would have been helpful at the time of booking Disappointing: No restaurant other than the breakfast dining room which serves a reasonable Buffet only between 6 am and 11an. After that there is nowhere to buy food and there is only the street food or Arabic restaurants nearby. So if you want western food it’s a walk. The buffet has a wide variety of food and is of generally good quality. Good : Whilst the hotel is a bit away from the main tourist centre it is quiet and only 15 mins walk to “walking street” through the Arab quarter, where you have to put up with lots of crazy people driving scooters at dangerous speeds in amongst pedestrians walking on the road as there are no sidewalks. Deluxe triple Bedroom : It would be large but is furnished with ancient furniture (photo) that takes up far too much space and is showing its age. Our room 2501 was not 4 star …3 if you are lucky. Safe , tea making, empty large fridge and TV , all good, But no slippers, robes, minibar contents provided . The Aircon was very very noisy even on low fan speed and it was difficult to control the temperature at night ….one minute it was too warm the next it was freezing. Wifi was very sporadic. When we arrived was non-existent in the room. We complained and it was ‘fixed’ so that we could only get it in the corridor outside our room .This went on for 4 days until frustration led us to complain again more strongly and then it was fixed properly so we did get it in the room. But it’s irritating that each time you want to use it you have to log on again. Bathroom area ( see photos) was very poor with grime in the corners of the wall and ceiling . The vanity unit cupboards has paint peeling at the bottom . The Hobbit “rain shower “ was a joke, such that anyone taller than four and a half foot (1.35 m) could not use it properly without crouching under it. Fortunately there was a hose but the holder for this was even lower so difficult to shower comfortably. I checked adjacent empty rooms to see if ours was a freak but alas no…. Also the bath was the shower base, but it was raised off the ground and surrounded by a marble ledge , so difficult, if not out right dangerous, for elderly people to climb in and out over the ledge into the slippery floor and bath . The shower was not quite contained by a very amateurish shower curtain. As a consequence water from the shower constantly runs on the floor making the bathroom a swamp unless you juggle the curtain and hold it with weights. The instantaneous water heater was barely adequate to give a powerful shower more than lukewarm. The lighting was very dim and added to the gloomy appearance. The whole bathroom experience in summary was pathetic. ….not even 2 star. Staff Most of the staff we encountered were friendly , helpful and keen to assist . Our room cleaning girl was very pleasant and helpful . ( She is very petite so probably can’t reach all the corners of the bathroom to clean there properly .) In conclusion: I believe it could easily have been a 4 hotel in its former days but possibly poor maintenance and attention to details have let it slide. Possibly they needed to reduce costs to be competitive as it is good value for money……if that’s your only consideration for an enjoyable holiday… ..go for it. Would we stay there again? , no. This is mainly because of the bathroom, the Aircon and the wifi. ….all the other stuff you can put up with or can adapt to.
it is very near to walking street the place was good the room was good clean spacious room are excellent the service also good breakfast was good nice experience swimming pool also nice price are ok staff were helpful
Stay here for 2 nights, everything was great! swimming pool, breakfast, room ,decoration. Staff was helpful and so cute. Not far from walkingstreet, you can walk around here to find some restaurant for dinner and many convenience stores. This hotel next to the main road. Reccommended!
I stayed in single bedroom suite, its huge very spacious, clean, breakfast selection huge and very best food, but i had issues with the bathroom shower and the taps, they are not maintained well and the location is remote not good
hotel facility is very good but service is pathetic. breakfast spread was same for all the 3 days and it became so monotonous that it was not worth eating the same stuff the 3rd day and i am talking about veg non veg both. the people sitting at the reception were so cold that ice would look better than them. there is no human touch involved. everything is about money and only money. it is a far away from walking street. not recommended for fun loving people
This hotel is 15 mins by walk and almost 1 km from walking street. We had 9 rooms in this hotel for 2 nights all were swimming pool facing with a very nice balcony. Buffet is wide and has a lot of variety. Would definitely recommend for families.
Hotel is very spacious with swimming pool. Little far from the main market and beach. Food is not good for the vegetarian. Have facility for the taxi and tourist information. Good for only relax. Hotel staff is OK.
Value for money, clean and big rooms, nice pool. Close to all happening places buy yet far from all the noise & traffic. Walking distance to walking street & Beach. I was very surprised that for 1000 Bath they rent these rooms. Only thing I did not like is the reception, I guess it is common in south east Asia, I have never experienced a wow factor in any south east asia.
