Positive only about pool area which is quiet big, lot of greeneries around. Negative: it was true that construction is going on just next to hotel - room is Noisy. Room is smelly, I think because of air coming out of old AC. Inside room is a bit dirty, furniture and lamps are old. Bathroom is ugly, though basics are there: a bath tab, hygienic shower, sink mirror. Did not like breakfast. Hotel looks short-staffed, in my opinion. I’m glad that I booked only few days here.
Just returned from a 12 night stay at this hotel and all I can say is it was 11 nights too long. We had book a superior room, all I can say is if that’s their idea of a superior room I’d hate to see a standard room. Black mould in the bathroom, dirty floor. Balcony furniture that I had to scrub before using. Threadbare towels with holes in. Car radio cassette player built into drawer for no reason as it didn’t work. Air conditioning that didn’t work properly for our first 9 nights. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff except for the security guards who always had a cheery smile. No pool towels available till after 10AM No tourist information books in English. The only upside and the reason I gave it a one rating was the pool. Although towards the end of our stay I did think it was starting to look a little murky. Also at the present time there are building works going on adjacent to the hotel which somewhat spoils the supposed peace and tranquillity of the hotel. All in all a disappointing holiday and won’t be returning.
Positives: Beautiful swimming pool, rooms were a decent size with a bath and shower Negatives: Wifi was horrific. When we first got there it was just an automatic login. They then created a generic password for everyone to use (they didn't actually inform us we had to go down to reception to find out why the wifi wasn't working) It then changed to individual logins (again, wasn't informed) and it seemed the individual login changed everyday so it meant having to go to reception every time for a login! As a couple we usually get two key cards so we can charge our devices (never been a problem elsewhere) when we came back after leaving the key in the slot it was gone. We aren't sure whether a cleaner had took it by mistake or whether we had a second key confiscated. We would also leave a 'make up the room' sign on our door at about 0700 and often return at 1700 and find the room was not clean. There's not enough loungers and residents of the hotel would leave their towels overnight on the loungers (despite the hotel having a policy of charging people 300 baht for not returning towels. We had to go out and buy towels because the hotel didn't have enough! They didn't have enough because people were leaving them out! Staff weren't overly welcoming or friendly Wouldn't recommend!
It was a lovely stay in green park resort. Great breakfast and very good staf. But at the poolbar only 1 stafmember is not good enough. You need for good service 3 person, because they take also care for the pool, towels, bar, food etc... Hard work but you have to wait to long for your drink. 15 till 25 min...... Good first man in the poolbar, he knows his job.
Pattaya is a curious place with a wild reputation, even for Thailand, but I felt safe and well looked after in this resort- I was alone- this is important to note. My check in and check out went pleasantly, the staff was kind, the breakfasts nice, the swimming pool heavenly, and location to the beach pretty, pretty good. (I do suggest going north up the coast, not south, by the way. Go away from downtown and you'll find more peaceful, less touristy beaches.) I stayed here in August and was pretty sure I was the only one in my older section of the hotel, at least I think it must've been older, though I'm not sure what the rest of the hotel was like. My room was spacious, modestly priced, private, and simple, and old. Some cracking, and places where paint could be used, and some weak internet made it a little less than paradisaical, but overall it was the perfect place to relax.
We (family of 3) stayed for 3 nights in December (20-23rd) and had a wonderful stay. Can’t claim to be a hotel expert but thought the Green Resort to be terrific value for money. Staff were really pleasant and polite, and the location is really good. We stayed in a standard room on the second floor near Reception. Room was fine and wi-fi was strong. Plenty of restaurants on the main road 70-80 metres walk (nearest 7-eleven is about 150 metres). The main shopping area is 10baht/ 10-15 minutes in a songthaew (walk to main road and then 60metres, just past the Dolphin roundabout to get songthaew). Taxis also available outside hotel. The beach is 70-80m the other direction, not necessarily a great swimming place but Pattaya isn’t known for that. Pleasant all the same, and a lot of “open-air’ massage places on the water (and plenty of others everywhere including right outside the hotel entrance (also a small store there). Hotel pool was great. Enough chairs and wasn’t fussed by the towels not being new. Buffet breakfast had more than enough choices, the usual eggs (cooked how you like) and bacon/ sausages + 6-7 other dishes (fried rice/ soup/ pancakes/ fried potatoes/ other Thai dishes of varying descriptions)/ a few different types of bread and pastries. Restaurant clean and well-staffed. Certainly feel that it was worth the money and more and couldn’t imagine doing much better for that price/location in Pattaya. If more gourmet food or newer amenities are a priority, then of course consider spending an additional 500-1500 baht/ night for a similar location. Will certainly stay there again.
Staff very friendly and perfect. Pool was great. Room very clean and big .... but ... water on the third floor no pressure. there is only air. at the pool not enough towels and all old. Parasols very old, broken and dirty. too bad for it ...
We stayed here for 7 days, which was way too long. I will start with the positive things. I can be short here: the pool. For a hotel that claims to be a resort with 3 stars it's sad that the wifi qualtity was a disaster. The last 4 days the hotel didn't even offer any wifi. If you asked for any explanation or solution they tell you that it simply didn't work. End of story. In the book in your room they claim to give a cake when it's your birthday. However when I asked 2 times about this they don't offer any help. I will remind 2 things. A nice pool and lousy service.
If you want to have not expensive but comfortable rest, this hotel is for you. It is an ideal place to relax after long, interesting and extra-ordinary excursions around Thailand. The hotel’s territory is not big but green with plenty of different beautiful plants, pool with clean water, restaurant with tasty dishes, which is suit to everyone, comfortable rooms and staff at reception will provide you with everything you need.
I stayed in the Green Park Resort (situated in North Pattaya) and a 70 metre walk out onto Beach road to catch a taxi Ute. On first arrival it looked a little old and rundown. Staff were pleasant and helpful but lacked good english skills!! The room was large in size and comfortable with a small kitchen and decent amenities within. The daily cleaning could have been done a little better. Breakfast was included in my room rate and the array of choices in food was very good. You must try the Daily omelettes made for you on order, delicious!! The pool area is the Hotel's best feature with a plenty of lounges and a sunken bar for drinks and food. No gym which was a surprise. Probably will not go back for a repeat stay!!
