location, location, location, you can not beat that! room is ok, little dated but have all items needed, we are there to ski, not to stay in the hotel so we did not mind an older hotel, if you are there for the ski experience, it is the best location you can find in the canyons.

Love the rooftop hot tub after a day of skiing! Close to everything!

Nice hotel in a great location. Beautiful mountain views. Nice, clean room.

Loved staying at Sundial! Very convenient to the lift, & bars. Awesome decktop jacuzzi! Only suggestion, have an alarm clock you can see at night.

I will definitely be going back and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The room I stayed in had a full kitchen with laundry and the best part was the door that led to the patio, that led to the outside with the gorgeous views of the mountains. I love the location of the hotel, it's right in the middle of the courtyard. I went a week early before the ski lifts opened so I'm sad I didn't get a chance to ski, however, I was able to hike the mountains in the snow which was only a few miles away. Great location!

Great ski vacation destination. Slope side access and good eats

Great location. Loved our family trip to Park City. The Sundial was a perfect location.

The hotel was excellent. The one thing I did not like about the room is that there was a window into the bathroom. This did not offer very much privacy. The location is great if you are there to ski.

Room had a weird smell and the cleaming staff came early while we were still in the room and then didnt come back later to clean once we were gone.

Nice place, pool and hot tub. The Canyons needs to make the activities more of a money value for families. They might get more business. Just wanted to go to the top of lift for a scenic ride and walk and they wanted 18 bucks a piece.

We really enjoyed staying at the Sundial. Our shuttle was early, but the staff cheerfully stored our luggage until our room was ready and was helpful with directions to the free bus to Park City. The room exceeded expectation, with a kitchen that had plenty of cooking pots and pans, cutlery, dishes and glasses, laundry facilities, up to date electronics and comfortable furnishings. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the village scene, and the hot tub and plunge pool in easy walking distance. The bed was a little soft for us, but the location was excellent, just steps from the main lifts. There were several restaurants in the Village, with varied menus and pricing ranging from affordable to astronomical (on the wine list anyway!). We skied every day - discovering new runs all week. On mountain dining and services were also excellent. It's a short trip to Park City, where we visited the Museum, an art gallery, the brew pub, a fine restaurant and many shops. On check out, the staff again was very helpful. I would definitely recommend staying at the Sundial to anyone skiing Canyons for a few days or more.

The wing of the Sundial Lodge where I stayed was not a hotel, but rather a timeshare. Beautiful 1-bedroom with a kitchen. Just a floor below, an open air deck with a jacuzzi, with gondola loading visible some 40 meters away. Canyons resort is huuuuge, so the location is amazing.

My experience was not good. First the room was not clean. One of the pillows had a blood stain on it. The size was about 6 inches by 4 inches, the sheets blood stain was about 4 inches by 3 inches, the comforter blood stain was about 2 inches by 2 inches. This was very disturbing to my wife and I. The television was ok, but we had a VCR. Totally outdated. The kitchen: We had to clean every piece of silverware, pots, and pans that were in the room. The carpet was not vacuumed. I have left a message with the front desk but no return call. I called directly to the Sundial Lodge to speck to the manager but my call was sent to the voicemail box. I am totally distraught over this. I have spent good money but the value was not worth my time. I will never refer anyone to type of Lodge.

Got a great room with a great view at the Sundial Lodge. The rate through this site was a significant savings over the Canyons direct or other websites but... This booking is managed by All Seasons Resort Lodging which is different than the normal Canyons resort management. As a result we had NO made service through the 3 night stay. The reception agent for All seasons Resort is only present during peak check-in hours. When I talked to the reception agent at 5pm on the 3rd night about the lack of maid service, she apologized but said the staff had left for the day but could have the room made up the next morning(when we checked out). So again. Great room at Great rate if you don't mind making your own bed.

Right next to the Gondola base! Location could not have been better. Wronderful staff was very helpful. Planning to return next year.

The Sundial Lodge was very convenient to the gondola and restaurants. The staff was very helpful. I would stay here again. Great value.

This hotel has a great location! Steps to the gondola, but the overall room was average, especially the cleanliness. Nothing special. We've stayed at the Siverado, which is a bit further from the gondola, but much better appointed. Will most likely book there again, especially since you can valet your skis/equipment kiddie-corner to the gondola. Overall, a 3-star place.

Sundial was great. It was our second time to stay here but the first for the winter. You can't beat the location for everything at the Canyons. The ASR staff was very courteous and helpful when our room key stopped working. The walls are a tad thin but nothing that made it difficult to sleep. We would definitely stay here again!

GREAT LOCATION IN YOUR SKIING THE CANYONS, WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME HERE ALTHOUGH IT WAS A SHORT TRIP. THE GONDOLA IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE RESORT SO IT IS A SHORT WALK.

The same dirt in the bathroom was there the entire 7 day stay , even after we asked for special attention to this matter!
