Good location near the train. I wouldnt want to stay here for more than a few nights. SMALL room. To be expected but our room was a closet. No A/C but we managed. Good front desk staff.

The rooms need complete renovation, except for the bathroom. Photos were not close to actual look

This hotel is good for a shorter stay since rooms are kind of small. Anyway, location and value makes this hotel to be a good deal.

It is clean hotel but they should change carpets in the rooms. Dont like because it is pet friendly hotel but anyway didn't see any pets around. For Valentine day in the morning they gave to every girl/women a beautiful rose which was a very nice. I recommend this hotel for stays less than 5 days. Small rooms and shower cabins.

Got the hotel for a decent price. Located right next to a major subway hub and near many food locations. I was able to walk to all of my destinations from my hotel. Staff was friendly and room was always clean.

Reasonable price for the location. Very convenient - one block from 3 different metro lines, and just under 2 miles from the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre. Air conditioning would be a real plus. And I know it's a cultural thing, but since many guests are American, would somebody PLEASE explain to the French hotel owners at least what the CONCEPT of a washcloth is! (Fortunately, I brought my own.)

Hotel is well located but overall it is not a good experience. Rooms are small and have not been maintained. Dirty carpet in the room.

We found that we came to love this cozy hotel. The location was great. It was clean and comfortable and just what we needed for our four days in Paris. I would definitely recommend this. Elevator was very small, but worked most if the time.

The biggest advantage of Timhotel Montparnasse is its location. It's very close to Montparnasse bienvenue metro station that gives easy access to Eifel tower, Arc de triumph, champs elysees and the airports. The staff is really helpful and friendly and the room was very clean. However the room was extremely small and it was very hard to place our two suitcases. In general it would be a good place to stay if you don't want more amenities and space.

Metro is located at walking distance, that's convenient. Lot of shops and restaurants in the area.

The hotel is very convenient to the Gare Montparnasse, the Tour Montparnasse with its shopping center and a large neighborhood of restaurants and cafes. The hotel is divided between two buildings with the desk in one and the breakfast buffet in the other. The buildings are separated by several doors on the same street, Rue de l'Arrivee. My room was spotlessly clean, but VERY basic. The clothes hangers, both in the freestanding wardrobe and the open shelf, were of the snap-into-place kind, and none of them were strong enough to hold my raincoat. The bed was comfortable, but the room lights were very dim, not suitable for reading. There was only a handheld shower inside a step-in bathtub, but the hot water was plentiful. The desk was not a meter wide, and there was only one free electrical outlet, so simultaneous recharging of electrical devices was not possible. While my room was street-facing, it was not too noisy on the fourth floor. The breakfast buffet was crowded, as all the guests came as soon as it opened. The offerings were basic and not worth 13 euros. (Walk across the street to the station for a cheaper breakfast.) Would I recommend it to other travelers? Only if they could afford nothing better. There are better hotels nearby, but not at the same price.

After the initial shock of the extremely small size of the room, I warmed up to the place. It was clean, quiet, and comfy. The carpet, curtains, and wallpaper were dingy but the bedsheets and bathroom were immaculately clean. It was conveniently located and the staff was helpful. I probably wouldn't want to stay here again as it was just too small for two people.

The man who seemed to be in charge of the desk was wonderful. He seemed to know everything and was very helpful. Very central location, easy to get anywhere.

The room was clean enough but didn't realize how looking at the the hideous Montparnasse tower that blocked our rooms view completely would detract from the Parisian experience. My fault, I saw the street view before booking but still disappointing. On the other side the location was so near the Metro that it was very convenient for day to day touristing. As far as the room goes it was clean and the beds were soft; something I've had trouble with in past trips. The staff was helpful enough with one standout, Franck who was a late night/early morning clerk was exceptional. Very nice and great English overall terribly nice guy. There were only 2 real complaints for me; first, only one very small waste can for the room, when spending 7 days you can accumulate a lot of little trash and we always were overflowing. Second issue was the hot water, now this one was absurd, no hot water after 10 pm or before 9. As such many a cold shower was suffered through, I find no excuse for this kind of frugality as it really lessens your overall experience and will cause me to avoid this otherwise decent hotel on my future trips. I spend a week a year and have so far not seen this elsewhere, maybe I've just been lucky. So if you are a late riser or a early sleeper you'll probably do alright. Lastly, free wifi was nice and although they charge 10 euro for breakfast it was plentiful and a good deal for the neighborhood,

Pros: Good location (close to metro) and breakfast buffe was included Cons: (1) we had to ask for some of the services listed on the website (for example, hair drier was not in the room so we had to ask for it and to keep it while we were staying and the staff showed dislike) (2) broken tub, bathroom sink, shower head and faucet in the bathroom (3) no clock in the room (4) there were 2 staffs and one was really nice and the other one was very rude/unkind/mean (when I asked for tea/instant coffee that the maid didn't replace, he throwed stuff at me and yelled). Also, called 3 times for someone to come and fix the TV (every time I called, he said he would come and fix it in 5 or 10 min). (5) Maid came in the room with her key while we were still sleeping (3 different days).

we got into Paris very late only to find that they could not find our reservation at the front desk. The manager was very polite and allowed me to print up my intinerary again so he can see it and when I showed it to him he know right away that [...]had not sent them the information on us on time. He still gave us our room even though we were not in his computer. Our room was very roomy and nice. It had a cute little balcony. Breakfast was very delicious and the staff there was superb. My stay could have been ruined due to miscommunication but instead the staff fixed it. I would definitly come back to them again.

The room was quite small but good if you're in Paris for a brief stay and need to be close to the station. The staff was quite friendly and very helpful.

Our visit was for tourist holiday site seeing. The hotel is very convenient to rail connections. The rooms are clean, the staff friendly and helpful, the breakfast acceptable. We thought the hotel a great value and will stay there again.

This hotel is great for businesss and research. Just one minute walk from the metro and RER stations of Montparnass Bien Venue. Wireless internet connection is free and perfect, which is very rare in hotels in Paris. Breakfast is free and very good. No hair drier, no hair conditioner (body soap was there), which is the only thing I lacked.
