This is our 2nd year in a row staying at Beatrice's apartment and again, we had a lovely stay. The apartment is close to wonderful Parisian bakeries, the metro is just down the street, a supermarket is right across the street and the apartment has everything we need as a couple. Bed is comfortable, kitchen is equipped with microwave, expresso machine, refrigerator and sink, with a good supply of dishes and silverware. The shower has plenty of hot water, which is a huge plus for me. It is on the 2nd floor, so if you have mobility limits, you need to consider that, but we are both seniors and we did fine. Beatrice is a wonderful host and is timely in communication with us. I would stay at her apartment again when visiting Paris.

Great little apartment in a residential area of Paris. Lots of restaurants, shops, grocery stores, bakeries very close by. Served by 2 metro lines, one of which a half block away Wi-fi dropped a few times, but not for too long. Things I didn't mind, but could be a negative for some:-All windows face courtyard (often a plus in Paris due to less noise)-Bathroom is a bit tight, but not overly so for Paris- You could faintly hear the Metro passing underground ( didn't bother me, I thought it was kind of cool!)Beatrice was an excellent host - very communicative & flexible. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The room is not numbered, so it was a little tricky to find. The stairs are dark and quite difficult to climb with any luggage (we only had carry-on sized bags). There's a light switch for the stairwell and hallway somewhere but we never found it. The listing was misleading. It said there was a courtyard, but it's just an opening in the middle of several buildings that we didn't have access to at all. All the windows look out into that space so we heard everything all the residents with open windows were saying. It is not the quiet, peaceful place advertised. There is quite a bit of mold in the bathroom on the showerhead, which caused us to become sick within hours of our arrival. The shower doesn't drain properly, which leaves you standing in water within just a few minutes. We eventually felt so ill that we booked a room for the rest of our stay somewhere else (where we immediately felt better once we got out of the place) and asked for a refund. We left the place spotlessly clean, and stayed only the one night it took for us to realize they apartment was making us sick, but we were categorically refused a refund for the remaining nights and we were blamed for having to leave as though it didn't cost us over 1,000 that we have not gotten back. VRBO doesn't stand by its guarantees at all, and the proprietor refuses to take responsibility for her aging apartment that needs work. The towels, while clean, are also very old and threadbare, and in desperate need of a update.

Incredible location, but a bit of a noisy courtyard

Incredible location, right outside the metro, and only a 20 minute walk to the Eiffel tower. Amazing first time in Paris, thank you to Béatrice. She was accommodating when we checked in late due to traffic issues and was extremely communicative. Great place as well, the sofa turns into a single bed which was perfect for our purposes. Unfortunately (no fault of Béatrice) there were a few tenants on 2 evenings that were loudly enjoying themselves in the courtyard until about 2 or 3am. We attempted closing the shutters and windows however we could still hear them and we had to be up at 5am to catch a train on of the nights. All in all, just bring some earplugs in case you run into the same issue. This is a great stay. Highly recommend and loved every minute.

Excellent stay and great location!

We had a super time in Beatrice's studio apartment. It has a great location: close to metro, stores, and at least 3 excellent bakeries (boulangeries) plus it's a quiet neighborhood. The apartment was perfect for 2 people. Adequate space, it had a nice refrigerator, microwave, expresso maker, and stovetop burner. Small bathroom, but plenty of hot water in the shower which was a huge plus for me and is not always the case in Paris rental places. And there was plenty of towels, too! Communication with our host was prompt and complete and she met us at the apartment with the key which was great! One thing people should be aware of is that the apartment is up a couple flights of a circular staircase-37 steps in all. My husband and I agreed that we would definitely stay at the apartment again when traveling to Paris.

Great base camp for exploring Paris

Our stay was wonderful. The apartment was spotless, Beatrice was very prompt in returning messages and was there within minutes to let us in The location couldn't have been easier to get around from. A 2 minute walk to the metro and 20 minute Metro ride from most major attractions. Lots of great restaurants in the area as well. The apartment is small- I wouldn't put more than 2 people in it, and it is up two flights of stairs - so be prepared if you are carrying heavy luggage. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure was good and water was hot. Most basic necessities were proivided- although we did have to buy Toilet paper :). But there is a market just steps from the front door. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommned.

Perfect Parisian studio

Communication with Beatrice was superb, the apartment is functional and very quiet at night. The location is right next to the metro station which makes every part of the city very accessible, whichever direction you plan to explore for the day. Neighborhood is wonderful, walkable, with bakeries, lovely restaurants and beautiful streets all around. Several supermarkets right next door, it was a perfect and effortless stay.

Enjoyable sojourn in the 15th.

Great location in the 15th near Metro Vaugirard. Spacious and comfortable studio apartment with good lighting. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Sunday many were closed but close by on Rue Lecourbe supermarket and other places open. I had luggage so took a taxi to the airport (booked in advance) to avoid stairs in the Metro. Enjoyed my stay here.
