Philippe was an excellent host starting from the moment we booked. He is very responsive and gave good counsel on our airport transfer plans. We also had travel delays due to the Eurostar tunnel issue on 12/30 and he was very supportive while we sorted out how to get to Paris and new check-in times. The apartment is comfortable and attractive and was just right for two adults and two large teen boys. Our youngest used the sofa bed and so everyone basically had their own room. Having two full bathrooms with showers was great. One has a bathtub and one is smaller with open plan and a sliding glass door in the primary bedroom. No laundry but there is a good laundromat one block over that is clean and only takes coins and small euro bills. There are two small kitchen counters set up for making coffee/tea but I wouldn’t plan to cook meals there. Great kitchen table though if you want to bring food home to eat. The best part of this apartment is the location. It was easy to get anywhere in Paris from this address but the immediate neighborhood is fantastic. Don’t miss the Picasso Museum, morning coffee at Cortado, delicious pasta at Big Love. We were visiting over the holidays so we didn’t get to see the local food market in full swing - the hours didn’t match our schedule. But it looks amazing. In summary, this is a great place to stay if you are ready to explore Paris and like to be in the heart of great food, shopping, culture.
