Instead of ranting about my unhappiness, I will just state the facts.
1- when I arrived, the systems were down. They asked me to sit and wait. They will come to me when it’s fixed.
2- while waiting a man was loudly complaining about their booking and his room.
3- after waiting for over 1 hour, I walked up to check if the system was up and they told me the system was up. They never came to get me.
4- I asked to sign up for the airport shuttle the next morning, I was told there was no need and to just be down 15 minutes before it leaves.
5- when they attempted to take the 100 euro hold for the room, the payment would not go through. We tried two credit cards, she then asked me if I had the available balance. I did.
6- I asked if the machine needs to be restarted because of the system shutdown? She said no.
I asked if I could just go up to my room and then come down in about 1 hour because I’ve been travelling all day. She said no, it was against policy.
7- After some more time, someone restarted the machine and voila! Now it works.
8- the room smelled like cigarettes and was furnished very 1970s and not in a good way.
9- the next morning I went to use the shuttle, I was told that only people flying with another airline could. Also the shuttle was full. They offered to call me a taxi.
10- taxi and ride shares take forever to get to you.
I also suggest you avoid the pub, food was bad. Breakfast is good, you just cannot bring your luggage.
