Good room although small and bathroom tight and compact but good and comfy. Didn't pay for breakfast. There is close free parking so didn't use garage. Walking distance to trains to Paris and versailles Palace. Borrowed iron from front desk which was a blessing! Good WiFi
Good hotel near lots of restaurants on tiny Versailles streets. Parking needs to be booked in advance and is limited, however if only staying for one night street parking may be cheaper - there were spaces available a 5-10 minute walk away in peak season. Palace is about a 15 minute walk away. Good breakfast, lots to choose from. Rooms on the small side but had everything we needed. Staff all very good and helpful.
If you are arriving by car make sure to reserve a parking space in the hotel's own garage (only some 10 spaces). I arrived early so I was lucky to secure a place for my stay. The hotel is a standard Mercure hotel, nothing exciting to write home about but decent and what you can expect. Great breakfast included. Good location in the city. Down the street there are several really nice restaurants for lunch and/or dinner. Smallish room - pleased I was travelling by myself ;) Decent wifi but the capacity was inadequate, sometimes REALLY slow. Room AC was also below par and that was downer as it were hot days... All in all, good and as expected
Great place next to Versailles downtown The staff is helpful The hotel is well renewed (new and stily) Breakfast is super Price are fair No real parking Rooms on floor 1 have the privilege tonsee all the employee stuff
We spent one night in this hotel while visiting Versailles Castle. The hotel is ideally located, just a 5-10min walk from the castle entrance, the person on the reception gave us a map which was useful! The rooms are nice, clean, well decorated, the size of our two standard rooms we ok for one night. The beds were comfortable. Every member of staff we encountered was delightful and very willing to help! We had breakfast which we found really nice, well presented and fresh! There is a carpark under the hotel which was very practical! Will recommend to friends. Thank you!
We had booked here for two nights because of a wedding nearby. We thought it was warm when we came in the room (a nice reasonable size) but we thougt we just have to activate the AC and that's it. Well, it wasn't, because the AC worked very poorly, the temperature in the room was incredibly high. When complaining at the front desk we got the answer that they had called for assistance but they didn't know when the technician would show up. Well, it took him two whole days to show up, just the time to ruin our stay in Versailles. With the high temperature outside and coming to the hotel to encounter the same heat, no, that was too much for us. The personnel ddin't handle this well, nowbody was sorry for this thing ruining our stay in Versailles. I think a hotel of the Accor chain should have a contract with different technicians to come immediately, it is not possible to have people suffer from the heat like that. We will not book here again.
Nice Hotel om 10 minute walk mof Chateau de Versailles. Centraly located for restaurants and bars. Car Park Indigo 5 minutes away. The hotel has only 10 parking place. Rez Chaussee rooms (5!) with little patio area. Good breakfast, nice rooms and bathrooms.
Very small room with minimal facilities - had to keep moving the cheap and plastic chair to get around the room. Internet connection was patchy and none of the extras you'd associate with a 3/4 star hotel. More of a budget hotel but at a ridiculously high price. Only saving grace was the breakfast buffet - although at the price you'd be better off going to a local cafe
The room was small. The shower was great, the staff was friendly. The breakfast had a nice variety. We were there for 3 nights. The room faced the street and there was early traffic noise not uncommon in a city area like this.
Well located in a quiet street 10-15 mins walk from both the main palace entrance and the RER station (on foot, it's quicker to turn left off the Avenue de Paris into rue Georges Clemenceau then right opposite the Monoprix than follow the traffic sign to hotel). Very friendly, helpful reception. Room small but sufficient storage and surface space for a couple of nights. Free bottled water. Good bathroom. Mattress firm but comfortable. Breakfast room quite crowded but good selection (included in package but many nearby alternatives as pricey to buy separately).
