Waldorf Astoria Versailles - Trianon Palace

The property is very well situated in Versailles and It’s a very nice property albeit that they have diminished some of the chateau’s beautiful features by painting everything a muted color. The problem with our reservation was that when we booked it I thought that we were staying in the chateau but instead we were in the pavilion!

Delicious food, nice place to have a quite stay and relax

I travel 3 weeks out of the month. All I can say this place gives peace to your body and your mind. Excellent staff and superb service. Stayed here 3 times and will stay here again.

The staff were awesome. Front desk staff were especially welcoming and concierge extra helpful.

Immaculately clean, breathtakingly beautiful, super quiet but still close to the Petit and Grand Trianon in Versailles. Friendly albeit not-that-attentive staff. Pricey but worth it for a night or two. Super romantic.

This hotel is just next to the Queen's hamlet and Petit trianon. For those wishing to get to know the gardens of Versailles, this hotel is perfect. The concierge greeted us with glasses of pear-apple-rosewater beverages - and took care of all our needs. Avoid staying in the Pavillion, which feels like a Holiday Inn. The pool and fitness facility are lovely.

Seems that the hotel was full, and not enough staff to provide basic services. We made a reservation which included a breakfast as a special deal[...]but the hotel had no knowledge of this special. This then was exta and very expensive. Hotel has great location but rooms rather basic

We selected the hotel for its location and rating and we were not disappointed. The hotel is right beside the Palais de Versailles and within an easy walk of the town. The staff and service were very good but the disappointment was that the main restaurants were fully booked well in advanced and we could not enjoy their cuisine.

An excellent, beautifully maintained hotel immediately adjacent to the grounds of Versailles. Huge room with all amenities for about the same price as a tiny room in Paris, and only a short train ride away. The buffet breakfast was a bit of a price shock at 39 euros, however.

Fantastic location at the side gate to the Chateau Versailles and garden! I wanted to treat my wife with elegance, which this hotel has, so I willingly paid the price for the King room with garden view. However, I wasn't expecting an "okay" breakfast (it rained so we didn't feel like walking to breakfast)to cost 33 Euro (about $46 USD) or to have to pay extra (8 Euro) for one hour internet use. I guess I'm bourgeois at heart.

Our room was an oasis, but we did not go to spend all our time in the room. We had trouble getting taxis to come pick us up at the hotel. The concierge was rarely there and failed to inform us of the taxi difficulty. Internet access should be available free at these prices. Food choices limited.

The hotel was Gorgeous with First-rate service. The underground pool and the secret passage way to it was Incredible. The location, at the end of the RE (railroad) was Perfect since I was still close enough to enjoy a day-trip to Paris yet far enough away to enjoy a quiet evening with the lovely French people. Absolutely the Perfect Place for all of you honeymooners out there! Thoroughly Romantic!

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your review. It is true that our Hotel is adjacent to the gardens of the castle. Our hotel is divided in two buildings : the pavillon building and the palace building. I am deeply sorry your experience in the pavillon building was not up to your expectations. I hope to welcome you warmly again in the near future. Sincerely, Grégoire Salamin General Manager Waldorf Astoria Versailles Trianon Palace nathalie.laborde@waldorfastoria.com 00 33 1 30 84 51 80
