Very good place near metro station, very kind and helpful staff but room cleaning so poor , every single day I ask them to charge the soap ..., breakfast doesn’t have variety and very simple, but totally if I’ll come back here maybe I’ll come here

The lobby, courtyard, location and staff are excellent. Rooms are spacious by European standards. They need a good cleaning (mouldy/dirty grout, etc) and no room amenities other than a blowdryer, hand soap and body wash. When your travelling light for business it's nice to have shampoo/cond, nailfile, etc in the room. Feels a bit pricey but location is excellent.

I choose this hotel every year for Salon du livre. It is the closest hotel to the convention, clean, friendly, and convenient. After a full day on your feet, you will appreciate saving the steps. Don't be fooled by other hotels that "look" close, events frequently only allow entrance from the front. There is an onsite breakfast and bar, but nothing worth talking about. Plenty of good restaurants close by and a nice grocery right across the street. This isn't a vacationers hotel, but if your business is at Porte de Versailles, you can't beat it.

We took 2 bedrooms since our kids are almost 12, so we could sleep more comfortably, but we didn't realize there was 1 double bed in each room. We were looking for 2 beds for the kids to sleep together but in separate beds. If you have kids you know that if they're in the same bed they will kick each other and laugh and scream instead of sleeping. They couldn't accomodate us for a 2 beds bedroom, unless we would go for the suite plus one bedroom. Also the rooms were not connected, so we had to go out and use the key everytime we needed to communicate. The think that bothered us the whole stay was a bad smell coming from the toilet seat. It was there when we arrived, and even after our complain about it, it was still there till we left. It was a very disturbing smell. The hotel has a new manager since the last time we were there 2 years ago, and we could notice an increase in the number of employees in the hotel, which was nice, and a room service for breakfast lunch and dinner, which was not available before; this was very helpful specially the first night when we arrived late. The breakfast is still 20 Euro per person, but some items are not available anymore like the fresh eggs that you would boil yourself. But it is still a very decent breakfast buffet.

We found this hotel on secret bookings. Having had some great experience with visits to London we divided to give it a go in Paris. We booked 2 nights and arrived early hours. The night porter seemed to struggle to check us in. Despite showing a 4* before being booked we expected a more warm and welcoming vibe. We had to use to 2 separate lifts to get to our room. Not ideal with 3 children! And it's never a good sign when hotels do this (thoughtless!). The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable. However the rooms were not adjoining as requested and we were missing a baby crib! We complained the next day and eventually got referred to a manager who changed our room. Parking lift is also very tight unless you drive a smart car. Luckily we only paid £100 per room per night, I don't think it is worth more because of the reasons above.

The Stay: Family of 4 on a 3 night/4 day stay in Paris. We booked the suite which was the largest room at the hotel. Safe and mid-class neighbourhood with a large convention centre across the street. Room Quality and Reception: Upon entering the hotel we were greeted right away by Arona, who spoke fluent French and English. He took care of us throughout our stay letting us know tips of the city and ensuring our stay was a pleasant one including when our room's fridge was not restocked. Room was a bit tight, not really a standard North America style suite, but comfortable enough for our standards. King bed and sofa bed were really comfortable! Amenities: Standard toiletries available. No gym or pool. One benefit of booking the suite is unlimited free drinks (soda, water, Nespresso, juices) every day. Location: Located in the 15e, you have the metro and tram literally at the doorstep of the hotel to get around Paris. Prime location with many cafes, restaurants, and grocery store surrounding the hotel. You can get 4 croissants for 2.50 EUR at a cafe. Cons: No major complaints. The water coming from the shower was inconsistent, it would either be really hot, cold, then warm. Not the end of the world, but needs fixing. Final Verdict: We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. Location was excellent with a large enough room complemented by small amenities.

hard small beds, slightly weird that items from the previous occupant were left behind in a rushed room turn over. Nice big windows one can open up and enjoy the air. Food was decent even though the eggs were runny. Great croissants. Like fluffy air kittens. Lobby quite lovely. Decently located to catch the metro.

I stayed at Mercure Porte de Versailles for a total of 4 nights just a week ago. We looked for a hotel that was not too expensive and that could accommodate our group of 4 (sisters and my niece). The hotel is literally 10 steps from the Metro (Porte de Versailles line 12). The staff is super friendly and helpful. We were greeted by Charles when we arrived, and saw him almost every day, he always had a smile and was very helpful with questions we had about how to get around. The hotel was also super clean, seriously clean. We opted not to do the breakfast because we wanted to explore outside. There are a handful of coffee shops right outside. Transportation is very easy to/from the hotel. The Tram passes right across the street and it can take you many places, including Versailles Chateau which is less than 20 minutes from the hotel if you take the RER C. We were a bunch of girls and we felt very safe coming to the hotel late at night. They also lock the doors after certain time, but there is someone at the front desk 24/7. Elevators worked fine and they are a bit bigger than the regular Paris size. Note: The bathroom tub was a bit high (if you travel with an elder person or have any knee or leg problems, you may want to keep this in mind. Otherwise, the room and the bathroom were always spotless.

I stayed at the hotel for a 3D2N work trip and it has the basics one needs to get by. Love the clean bathroom and lotion provided. It is located a few minutes' walk between two Metro stations - very convenient to move around. There's also a supermarket opposite the hotel to get your supplies or for a quick bite. And some restaurants/cafes/supermarkets down the street too. The breakfast spread was simple but filling. Do remember to mention your room number to the lady manning the cafe entrance before entering or you'll receive her scowl!

We have been staying here for 4 days 3 nights. Overall experience average. We have been accorded a smoking suite on our check-in. The staffs performance were good at the Reception. Need to work out for restaurant serving breakfast. The variety serve daily (no changes). Quite similar each day with sausage, scrambled egg, cereal, yoghurt, cold selections, bread and fruits. The restaurant food and service was poor. No one clear plates on the table till the guest leave. A bit concern as being hotelier for more than 18 years. The good thing is the orange juice and pancake making machine. Around the vicinity, many restaurant and Franprix supermarket. Need to work on software. Should have a tour desk or perhaps recommendations for visitors travel to Europe. Not difficult as this is in the good and safe location. Easy commuting via metro, tram, bus, and taxi. I would recommend people to use UBER here as most of the taxi drivers were not reliable and dishonest. Beautiful Paris but a lot have to do with people especially human touch. I have been traveling to many Europe countries for the past 20+ days.
