4 stars is a exaggeration. The hotel is clean and the staff were polite but that’s about it. We stayed for one night and moved on to another hotel. Breakfast was included but very boring with few choices.

It's an older building with a bit of character but has been greatly renovated, especially the lobby which is blindingly white. I liked the hotel and I like the 13th, though some tourists may find it a bit removed from the major sites. For me that is the neighborhood's beauty. You don't feel so much like a tourist and when you speak your fractured French in the various shops and cafes they don't reply in English - usually. My room (509) had two windows and a great amount of light. The second night I noticed I actually had a "view" of the Eiffel Tower as it was twinkling through the bare tree branches many miles away. You'd never even know it was there in the daytime. An annoyance was the front entrance which does not always open automatically. It seems that after dark (which is 17.00 in the winter) they want you to ring the bell which is placed to the right of the door. A security feature perhaps, but I didn't even notice the bell until I'd been there a few days...standing out there like a jerk with my shopping bags! :-) Breakfast was good and had a bit of hot food - scrambled eggs and meats - in addition to the usual cold meats and cheeses. The hot food was much appreciated in the winter. Downstairs in the breakfast room is a lady with light brown hair who deserves a medal for her cheerfulness and friendliness. I don't recall ever seeing anyone work so hard - anywhere - to ensure guests' happiness. To the Accor management of this hotel: Please nominate this woman for whatever employee recognition program you may run. She really deserves to win. She is incredible and there seems to be no end to her energy and genuine concern.

I stayed here recently as part of a group booking to celebrate my sisters 50th birthday. We booked 6 rooms for 12 of us for 2 weeks, and we loved the hotel. Everything was fantastic - the location (only a few minutes walk to the local Metro Place d’Italie, the local shopping centre, many cafes and restaurants and the markets in front of the hotel 3 times a week). Excellent staff service - all staff were very pleasant and helpful, even accommodating our group to have Christmas Day celebrations on site. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were all a decent size, clean and the heated towel rack in the bathrooms were a huge hit. We loved everything about it, and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it to everyone.

My family (12 people), booked this hotel for 2 weeks. The hotel was very accomdating in that they tried to get us all on one floor. All communication with the hotel prior to our arrival was promptly responded to, mostly by Norine. The rooms were as expected, the breakfast was a basic breakfast, but the staff were wonderful. The hotel is located just down the road from a metro station and their are plently of restaurants around if you wanted to stay local for dinner.I would stay here again without a doubt.

Stayed here 3-6 November with my boyfriend, we are a young couple, who have never travelled to Paris before! This hotel was perfect, friendly staff, room cleaned every day, super comfy bed ( boyfriend didn’t want to get out of lol), close to supermarkets, restaurants, kfc, McDonald’s etc, also 2 seconds away from metro, and also a huge shopping centre with shops like Zara, Adidas etc! Staff spoke very well English which was helpful as we only know about 2 words in french! Overall had a great stay in this hotel!

If you like a touch of style in terms of Audrey Hepburn then this hotel situated 1 minutes walk from the metro station is for you. Small but wonderful colour scheme with a collection of dresses around the lobby area. Small hotel bar but good wine selection. In the room a fridge is a welcome surprise. If you are disabled then room 304 is well suited if however you are not disabled you will have no shelf space in the bathroom. But on my visit the room was extremely quiet and staff were very attentive

great location, right next to main safe metro stops. also, lots of good resturants in the neighaborhood. 3 minutes walk from one of Paris biggest malls (Zara, H&m etc. the hotel room was very clean, beautiful decor, i am recommending a room an the first 2 floors that are renovated. the stuff was very nice and helpful, especialy Damian at the reception. 24/7 reception and that helps. nice market outside the hotel twice a week. wifi was excellent and so was the breakfast. breakfast totally worth the price. will definitlly come again

Located not far away from metro station of place d'italie.. the room is a bit small but clean. The receptionist were very welcome and informative about how to reach a certain place. In the Friday morning there was a local market selling fresh fish, fruits, cheese, etc in front of the hotel so it feels like living like locals. Taxi driver said it's china town but it doesn't feel like one.

Stayed in the Privilige room with views of the city and Eiffel tower which I would really recommend (got a 30% discount though, normal rates are quite high). Hotel and room are very clean, breakfast was excellent (even at 9.50 am there was plenty of choice) and the bed was possibly the best we ever slept in at a hotel. Would stay here again!

Stayed here last weekend. Checked in online, so keycard was waiting for me. Privilege room small but clean. Same with bathroom. Great shower. Bed comfy, pillows just about ok. As a Accor gold member I was disappointed the welcome drink didn't extend to my wife. Stopped in countless hotels throughout the Accor group and this is the first time this has happened. Staff unhelpful when I bought this to there attention. The result being, instead of having a few drinks at the bar, we only had one in there all weekend and took our € elsewhere. Bar area itself very small and and not really welcoming. All in all a decent hotel.
