Great location about 2 miles out from 'cite de isle'...between 2 Metro stops, with 4 bus lines in front and tons of nearby restaurants & shopping. Our room was clean, larger & nicer than expected & had a lg tub, high pressure shower and balcony with full glass doors. Desk clerks were VERY helpful with $ saving tips, plane reservations & several other services. After a 5 day stay, we would definitely stay here again when in Paris. GREAT value for the $ .

I took my grand daughter to Paris for her 17th birthday and could have not been happier with the Hotel Royal St Germain. The rooms were lovely and the bathroom was terrific. It had a wonderful tub where I could soak after long days of sight seeing. The bed were comfortable and had fresh linens everyday. The metro was close by and the staff were so helpful. They all spoke English well and helped me with dinner reservations.

The hotel was a quaint boutique hotel. Just what We like when traveling. Gave us a great feel of the city. If you're looking for opulence this is not for you. If you want s cozy room with a great staff. Book now.

Right in the middle of two metro stops and a short walk from Monparnasse tower, this hotel was a great stay. Very friendly and helpful staff and free wifi! Would recommend.

We only stayed a few days but this was a nice place to do it. The room did get hot at night so you want to be sure to either leave the window open during the day or at night.

Would stay here every time I get to Paris. The staff were helpful and extremely accommodating. Rooms were ready and perfectly clean when we arrived. Lobby was under a bit of renovation but even the workers were very friendly. Such a different experience from my last trip to Paris 30 years ago. I can't get over how friendly Paris has gotten!!!! Thank you royal St. Germaine for the great memories!!!!

The location was nice...close to many shops, restaurants, and cafes. There were a couple metro stops close by, which made traveling throughout the city convenient. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was small, but I was expecting this given that it is France. Even so, there was still plenty of room to move around, store luggage, etc. The room was decorated nicely with light blues and browns. The bathroom included a tub/shower with an overhead "rain" shower-head as well as a small vanity with a bowl sink. Our room was on the 6th floor and faced the road. The road noise was noticeable, but not overly loud. There was a strange odor coming from our bathroom. It appears there was work being done outside the hotel on piping, so it may have been related to that. Our stay was in late November when the outside temperatures were in the 30s & 40s F. Our room stayed warm, and we opened the window at times for some cool, fresh air. Overall, the hotel seemed like a good value. I would consider this hotel again when I return to Paris.

Hotel Royal Saint Germain is typical of other hotels in Paris in this price range. If you are looking for a place to shower and sleep and don't need other amenities - it is great. The night hotel clerk - an older gentlemen whose name I sadly can't remember was absolutely delightful. Loved him!

In an itsy bitsy tiny little pink room on the 4th floor, we spent a week cuddled up in Paris with our two twin beds pushed together. There was a nice view out of the window of the busy street below. The bathroom was fairly large for Europe. Hotel Royal St. Germaine is in the heart of the 6th, right by the Montparnasse Tower. The hotel is close to two metro stops, and less than a 10 minute walk to the Luxembourg Gardens. The price was excellent for Paris in high tourist season ($800 for 7 nights in August). We made ample use of the free wi-fi. The room was cleaned daily. We never had the breakfast -- there were too many little places in the 6th that we had to try.

An excellent place to stay! Good staff, considerate, extremely clean and neat. A great place which still maintains a small hotel feel. Well placed in regards to the Metro, railways and various tourist sites. We plan to stay there again.

We had a good stay in this hotel. The Location was great. The room and bathroom were very clean. The beds were great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Royal Saint Germain. We would definitely come back!

We found the hotel to be clean the staff friendly. It is in a very good location with shopping and good restaurants all around - We really liked 1900 Montparnasse and Le Consigne. There is a McD's a few doors down for a late night snack or coffee in the morning The hotel is about equal distance between Notre Dame, the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. Go straight up Rue de Renne to get to the Louve. On the downside, the room we were in was only a few feet larger than the bed. The bathroom was also small and the opening to the shower only about 16 inches across. While little outside noise entered the room, we could hear our neighbors talking, their TVs, and the pipes are noisy.

A+. I believe this grade is represented my experience with this hotel.

The hotel and staff were lovely. The room space was tight (by Western standards) but perfectly Parisian - clean, modern, and cheerful. The breakfast was delightful (ours was included in our price). We would enjoy a hearty, delicious breakfast and then be set for hours as we travelled around the City. The hotel is located within one block of 2 metro stations. It has an elevator, English speaking staff (very courteous), and is well managed.

HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND VERY WELL LOCATED. STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL. WE FOUND ALL OF FRANCE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. WE LOVED OUR TRIP AND WOULD DO IT AGAIN.

Staff could not have been better. Nice neighborhood, good free breakfast, room a little small but nice bath.

Staff made this twice the experience.. great location to Latin District and other cool neighborhoods to walk and play. The best of our Paris hotels.. by far.

Montparnasse an interesting area -- very few tourists, a plus. Plenty of interesting good restaurants nearby. Room small, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

This hotel is in an excellent location for discovering Paris, metro and airport shuttle bus station very close by and plenty in walking distance. The hotel is having very quite and clear. The breakfast was excellent, especially for a continental, lots of choice. duing my trip hotel was full the breakfast room quite small. The best thing about this hotel was the staff, very hellfull and can speak english well.free internet acsees, air cond. room safe and very clean bath room. next time we will be stay again. Stayed April 6-9 2012, traveled with my wife Selma-Ahmet Ulusan

The hotel is being renovated. The hotel staff seemed irritated by the low price we got online kand put us on a floor that had no carpet or wallpaper/paint in the hallways. The room was OK but there was no coffee pot/hot water pot. The shower was nice but the room was a step below the others we got in Paris, Rome, and London. The location is quite nice though. Be careful that breakfast is NOT included despite the fact that the description of the hotel says that it has a daily buffet breakfast. You have to pay extra for the room to have breakfast included.
