Small rooms. All a bit stuffy. Rooms very warm. Could only manage by opening windows whole night. Location good. Breakfast ok , small buffet or express option with croissant, juice. Staff is friendly.
This Hotel has was not accommodating to an early check in. Despite the early 2 days advance notice we gave them before our departure. The also have a horrible smell in the main stairwell. Thank God the odor stays trapped, and it didn’t smell in the hallway or in our room. I think its a city sewage problem....i complained, but they acted oblivious.
Right. Let's deal with a few things upfront 1. The hotel lobby smells oddly of sulphur and drains. They really should try to sort that out because I see why people find that off-putting. Nonetheless, my room smells of precisely nothing, as it should. So once you're upstairs the smell is gone. 2. I took a cheap no breakfast rate as I'm on my own and out and about enjoying Paris. There's a tiny supermarket (Carrefour Express) 2 minswalk away so you can buy your wine, bread, cheese, cereal bars, whatever there 3. The hotel is a bit dated in places but I'm afraid that's also Paris for you. I actually don't mind some cracked floor tiles in the bathroom and some cheap bathroom fittings (stainless steel bowl sink etc) because I don't come to the city of love and light to enjoy staring at the bathroom. The bathroom had a big bath in it too which was a godsend after a long working day. The toiletries provided are nice quality. The hotel bedroom is clean, warm, comfortable (looked newly done actually) and quiet with dark thick curtains. There's a tiny mini bar fridge so a. That's where cheese purchases can live and b. If you're feeling flash, a quarter bottle of champagne is €14. You pays your money and you takes your choice, in every city to some degree but especially Paris 4. It's very close to Argentine metro, and the Champs Elysee. Perfect for my shopping expedition therefore. 5. The Bistro Pergo restaurant just up the road is incredible. Eat there! So the hotel is a mixed bag of odd luxury touches(mini bar, a free in room iPhone type thing to use), standard stuff (wall mounted TV, decent mattress, dressing table albeit no mirror) and downright shabby (bathroom is as basic as it gets, no adjustable shower settings, everything looks like it's been bulk bought cheap and installed by an amateur. But it is, I stress again, spotless, and the bathroom is also surprisingly large - almost as big as the sleeping area. They could charge a lot more if they did some bathroom repairs and renovations. Would i come back? Sure. Would I spend a honeymoon/romantic break? Not unless I was on a budget. Do I love that this is central and relatively cheap? Yes.
I stayed here with my girlfriend in January, it’s a 10 min walk from arc de triomph, good location. Rooms were nice, clean and fairly modern. There was an egg smell throughout our stay on the staircase, but apart from that, great! The staff were superb, my girlfriend and I lost our phones and they did all they could to help get them back. Very friendly and helpful. I would go back again!
It is a great location great staff good place I recommend it as it is a great value for money. They are near arc de tromph and other places. They gave me a free breakfast as the heater was not working
location of our hotel was great: 2steps far from the Arc de Triomphe' a step away of everything. Handy's service was so helpful. The personnel was so very nice and helpful. The family apartment was large enough to give each of us some privacy.
The staff are friendly and service-minded, the breakfast is nice and looks really good, the location is all tight (close to the metro)... But the smell in the staircase is horrible! Is seriously smells like sewer sprung leak somewhere in the lower parts of the building. It's just the staircase, not the rooms, but still... I'm considering giving this hotel two stars because of that, but the nice staff deserves better. Still, if you don't get a really good deal on this hotel, I recommend that you choose one that does not smell like the home of the living dead.
The hotel had a nice location, only a few minute walk from the office where I worked. In addition, a subway and the Arc just a few minutes’ walk. The hotel feels a bit old, but the room is ok. The room was too hot and I had to turn off the ventilation (it only spewed out warm air) and have the window open all the time. The breakfast is nice, but somewhat expensive if you not a big eater (19 euro). Very nice staff, nice mini bar and free Wi-Fi with good quality. Average+
Located on a calm street, close to the Metro (Argentine Metro Station), with less than a 10 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile. The front staff were friendly and helpful with where to eat and what to see, they spoke excellent English. The hotel provides an android for guests to use during their stay. The android had wifi, useful apps (inc. google maps) and free calls for selected countries. Guests can carry it around the city and charge it on the room. Do not lose it, it's expensive to replace!! There are plenty of nearby restaurants and cafes. We were very pleased with the concierge's recommendation to eat dinner at La Maison. The hotel is very clean, the room is cosy with a comfortable bed, decent sized bathroom (with bathrobes). My sister and I could get ready in the bathroom at the same time. The tub/shower is on the narrow side. Taking a bath was tight but was easier than taking a shower. Free WiFi with a strong connection, I did a Facebook Live video with no issues or lag. I ordered champagne and chocolate for my sister's birthday through the hotel's website, it was waiting for us when we arrived. Loved the breakfast available for purchase, especially the coffee, in a quaint breakfast area just off the lobby. They kept our bags after we checked out in the morning so we could tour for the day at no extra charge. I would definitely book again!
Horrible experience. Withdrew whole payment upon my arrival. No chance of a refund even tho I changed hotels. Unclean bathroom and moldy room. Inflexible management and impolite staff. Worst experience in a Paris hotel so far!
