Located on a calm street, close to the Metro (Argentine Metro Station), with less than a 10 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile. The front staff were friendly and helpful with where to eat and what to see, they spoke excellent English. The hotel provides an android for guests to use during their stay. The android had wifi, useful apps (inc. google maps) and free calls for selected countries. Guests can carry it around the city and charge it on the room. Do not lose it, it's expensive to replace!! There are plenty of nearby restaurants and cafes. We were very pleased with the concierge's recommendation to eat dinner at La Maison. The hotel is very clean, the room is cosy with a comfortable bed, decent sized bathroom (with bathrobes). My sister and I could get ready in the bathroom at the same time. The tub/shower is on the narrow side. Taking a bath was tight but was easier than taking a shower. Free WiFi with a strong connection, I did a Facebook Live video with no issues or lag. I ordered champagne and chocolate for my sister's birthday through the hotel's website, it was waiting for us when we arrived. Loved the breakfast available for purchase, especially the coffee, in a quaint breakfast area just off the lobby. They kept our bags after we checked out in the morning so we could tour for the day at no extra charge. I would definitely book again!
Horrible experience. Withdrew whole payment upon my arrival. No chance of a refund even tho I changed hotels. Unclean bathroom and moldy room. Inflexible management and impolite staff. Worst experience in a Paris hotel so far!
I stayed a number of times at the Pergolese while on business travel to Paris and I once spent 3 weeks there during a relocation. The hotel is quaint and has a distinct Parisien flavor, much more I find that at some other 4* hotels. The rooms are not huge - this is Paris - but they are comfortable and well appointed. The service I always found to be excellent. The hotels' location cant be beat...jut iff the Grand Armee, close to Argentine station and a very short walk from the Arc d'Triomphe. Recommended.
Spent two nights at hotel pergolese during a recent business trip. I chose the hotel based on proximity to my meeting location as well as on price. The rooms and bathrooms are definitely in need of a brush up. The feeling in the whole hotel is that it is becoming worn down. For me being taller than 190cm the beds were too short and there were no plugs close to the bed for charging my phone so I had to pull out the plug of a lamp in order to charge it. Same thing in the shower, the fixed shower head was below the top of my head and you had to shower in the bathtub which is something I personally dislike. The room had a small desk but no real chair which made working in the room uncomfortable. Breakfast was typical French breakfast. Ok, but not with 19€ The staff was friendly. I I come back to this neighborhood I will prefer to stay at hotel Duret which is located on the next street.
Stayed end of August 2017 for 5 nights. Great location. Five minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe, close to transport links. Excellent helpful staff. Tea and coffee provided in room daily. Rooms cleaned daily, fresh towels provided daily.
The hotel is perfectly located, surrounded by Metro Station not far from La Defense nor the Champs Elysées. Hotel is tiny and modest but staf very friendly, and the rooms are well designed, and clean. The pricing is good, which makes it a great value for money business hotel.
No AC .. bad Service ... not clean .. bad rooms 😔 they Bring a fan .. stupid stuff 😏 ... and I complained .. but they are really stupid .. no one answered me .. it’s deserve one star not 4 stars ....
Stayed one night in L' Hotel Pergolese, it was pretty average. The pictures make the rooms seem much more bigger in size than in reality. However it is fairly close (walking) to metro stations and the bus station that takes you to Beauvais Airport, and the Beds/Bathrooms are very nice and clean there.
Paris can be a confusing city at first, but with a little help, can be encountered and enjoyed. We stayed at Hotel Pergolese and could not have been happier. The staff, with especial mention of André, Edith and Dolma, were friendly, courteous and very helpful. Our room was always clean, neat and well made. Air conditioning in the summer was a blessing. The hotel is best accessed with a 3 minute walk from the Argentine stop on the #1 Metro line. There is a full breakfast for 19 Euros or a Formula express for 9 Euros that was very helpful in starting the day. If you can get a break on the hotel price through some agency like trip advisor, planning and obtaining this in advance is worth it. The #1 line is direct to most of the famous Parisian sights, so everything is convenient. You are literally 10 minute walk to the Arc d'Triomphe or 1 metro stop. This is my hotel choice when I return without a doubt. I even left my phone when we left and they sent it to me back in the States .
