No plug for bathtub. ‘Oh I will be right back” and never returns. No remote. Tv the size of my iPad. 3 of the 4 lights do not work. Black mould in bathroom. It’s beside a highway with a grocery store across the street. I’d give the grocery store 4 stars. Pro - some English.
This is an ok airport hotel for 1 nights stay. I didn’t experience the room to be like shown on the web site, although I was surprised by the nice and newly renovated bathroom. This is an ok hotel if you’ll stay one night in between flights, but not more.
this hotel is a 4 stars hotel due to his group... very small bathrooms with no shampoo - no cream / no coffee machine in the bedroom no paper no pen no canal plus channel...never seen that before. And 16 euros for the breakfast Orly record. And to conclude look at the picture... Imagine....ok
This hotel is conveniently located a few minutes from the Paris Orly Airport. It is clean and modern but the rooms are very small as are the corridors and lobby. There was no hotel info or menu in the room but one was brought up. The club sandwich was more of a simple chicken sandwich. The reasonable price and free airport shuttle make it a convenient transit hotel.
Great hotel if you are taking a flight the following day. The rooms are very nice and modern but the cleaning is not at it's best when I saw hair as the size of a golf boll on the hairdryer in the bathroom I was very surprised. The receptionist and restaurant waitresses are nice and the breakfast is very good but the restaurant food is not that good. Charging guest 2€ / person for coffee at the reception hall while waiting for the shuffle bus is not very appreciated! There are no caddies to transport your luggage to your room so we had a bunch of bags to take in small elevator. This is rather a weak 3 star hotel but definitely not a four star. The modern rooms are the only positive point. The Navette bus was very dirty inside and the driver was very polite and nice but he was driving very bad and dangerously and for a 4 star hotel there should at least be a printed hotel name and logo sign in the bus not the name Howard written on a paper box! But as mentioned before the rooms are modern and comfortable.
I had the pleasure of staying here for one night last week. We flew in from Pisa and wanted a hotel close to Orly Airport for our flight the next day. The hotel was a 10 minute drive to the airport and free shuttle service. Everyone working there was so accommodating. Rooms were updated and spotless. Would highly recommend!! We were able to take an Uber to see Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower. 25 minute Uber ride for about 31 Euros one way.
Clean. Across the street from a grocery store and a train station. It was easy to get into Paris using the trains. Don't buy a Coke! We paid 5 euros a piece! Front desk persons were very helpful. Bathtub not for short people!
I booked this hotel, just south of Orly airport (5 minutes by free shuttle service) because of it is location for my business appointment. The rooms are quite spacious for French standards, comfortable bed, good bathroom with shower, free wifi of good quality and they serve an okay breakfast buffet to start the day. The staff at reception and in the restaurant is very friendly and helpfull! For the shuttle service you call them upon arrival at the airport and they explain where you can find the shuttle service, I only needed to wait around 10 minutes max for it. For the return flight you just reserve it at the reception desk. I understand the shuttle service is not available during the afternoon, not sure for exact timings, you should check at the hotel if this is important. As an alternative you can take tram 7, which stops right in front of the hotel. Location is not very fancy, just next to the main road, with lots of traffic. However when you sleep with the window closed you will not be bothered by any noise. Opposite the hotel there's a big carrefour, so you can do some grocery shopping. Not many interesting restaurants in the area. You can dine at the hotel too, I believe it is of good quality, however a bit high priced, as are the drinks at the bar.
On the pictures the hotel looks good, but the rooms are really smaller. The cleaning is really not perfect. (Stains on the floor, hair in the sink, dusty shelves). Also, there aren't not enough bath products ! (No shampoo offered or moisturiser) I do not recommend this hotel as you can have a better value for an ibis or mercure hotel for the same conditions. The staff is really nice and friendly though. Good service with transport to the airport this morning.
The Howard Hotel is now becoming "tired" and lots of things are not functioning in the room, reading lights that cannot be turned off, broken mirrors, bathroom interior that is getting loose, missing things, such as toilet holders etc. I had to change rooms twice. Reason for giving 3 stars instead of 2 was the super service from the guy at the reception, can only praise him. It's a shame, because at previously stays it has been good.
