Great location and friendly staff. The gentleman at check in was helpful and kind. He helped me with an issue I was having with my iPhone

Despite it being in a bustling area and having a heat wave while we were there, we were very comfortable due to the excellent air conditioning and quiet soundproof windows. The decor was lovely, breakfast pleasing, and all of the staff were professional and welcoming.

Great breakfast, nice staff, clean room. Close to metro station. Good for the price

The location is great - it's in the 10th neighborhood, and has a very [NYC] Village-type feel to it. Very local, which is awesome. Very close to the subway too! The room was spacious, and the staff was wonderful - Jonathan was great at the front desk! We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, which we did not expect! And the bed was softer than the ones we had before getting to the hotel. So what were the cons? Well, the wifi just didn't work. The front desk was made aware of it, and they understood that the difficulties. I'm not saying you should spend your time on your phone while you're in Paris instead of exploring, but it helps to have access to data so that you can figure out your plans while you're there! Also, our hotel room was not cleaned when we got back at 3:30pm. The staff was pretty apologetic, and we just opted to keep the room as is (it's not like we were crazy messy, but we did have some trash we wanted removed). In addition, we got the King Prestige room (something like that), which was very spacious, and it was great. The toilet however was in a separate location from the tub and sink, and it was one of those sliding doors. That was a bit strange. The tub had a shower head that was mobile and had one of those movable necks, but it was a bit difficult to shower with it. I do recommend the hotel though, especially if you want to get away from the touristy feel! We loved the location, and would gladly return!

Extremely convenient. Within two blocks there are 2 metro stations, 2 groseries stores, 2 laundry mats, lots of places to eat and drink from cheap to fancy.

Clean, class and courteous staff. I would recommend and will definitely stay here when visiting Paris. Thank you Hotel Gabriel.

staff very nice and helpful....I would surely stay here again....very cozy

The staff is lovely and helpful. The hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient. It is a five minute walk to La Republic metro station, which is a central station (don't bother with the other "close" stations). There are amenities local to the hotel, including food stores, cafes and brasseries. I would stay there again. The only inconvenience was that the shower was designed in a somewhat unique way, which led to water always getting outside the shower and on to the bathroom floor. But there were plenty of towels so it was no big problem.

Hotel Gabriel Marais is well located, The hotel is clean and modern, and beautifully decorated. The hotel is the perfect retreat after a busy day in Paris.

no water to drink except what you can buy for four eroes. no computers, or lobby. When my sink in the bathtub closed they had to wait a day to fix it.
