Very nice & helpful staff. Elevator needs updating. There was a very strong, unpleasant chemical smell in the ropm, possibly from cleaning products?

Stained carpet, smelly rooms. Good staff, service and location but horrible room quality.

The only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to Eiffel Tower. Here were bad things: hotel staff smoked just outside the lobby so I got exposed to second hand smoking. This was HORRIBLE!!! The lobby, the room, especially bathroom etc are tiny and uncomfortable. The room smelled bad. Their charge is too expensive for the condition of the hotel.

We understand that in staying in Paris for the price we paid, this was not going to be a 5-Star hotel, but what a disappointment. Chief complaint was the bathroom, which was very small and had the tiniest shower ever. Husband could barely fit in it and could not bend down to wash his feet. The first morning, water pressure completely died twice and water ran cold to lukewarm. Not a problem on following days. Toilet leaked onto the floor (clean water, thank goodness) every time it was flushed, and we had to have towels on the floor to not step in water (room 27). There is a ledge that runs around the hotel room itself, near the floor, as well as in the bathroom. It was covered in dust in the room. When I checked the bathroom, that ledge was covered in dust and HAIR. Disgusting. Looks like it hadn't been wiped in months. The sheets were clean and the staff was nice, although we were told by one staff member the night prior to checkout to let them know 15 minutes before we needed a cab and they'd summon one. The morning we checked out, a different staff member indicated she would do this for us. After waiting 15 minutes, we checked with her and were told she hadn't been able to reach anybody...and then started trying again. We left, frustrated, dragging our luggage through the streets, and flagged down a cab after ten minutes. Fire alarm went off one night at 11:40 p.m. and we evacuated. Fire department never came and we weren't notified what happened. At least it worked.

I will most definitely stay here again when I return to Paris. The staff is amazing, very friendly and they all make sure you are having a great stay. The rooms are small, mine looked bigger than the pictures but it is paris after all, all Hotels are like this. The hotel is cozy, has a really nice terrace and very well located in the middle of the center of Paris. Will come again for sure.

Afforable hotel to stay at and the Eiffel tower was around the corner. Very close to the metro station!! Rooms were cleaned everyday. No air condition but it was cool weather. There was construction noise on the first floor restuarant that lasted for 3 days. The rooms are small but we didnt stay long enough in them to care. Overall it was comfortable.

Old school, charming, petite. Being only a few blocks from Eiffel tower allowed us to be there early and avoid long lines. Friendly and efficient staff. Very reasonably priced for Paris.

Few steps from train station if you want to see the louve. The hoel is within walking distance from the eiffel tower. You can see the tower from the hotel street. The room, bathcloset, and the staircase that lead to upper floors were very small but ok. A bit noisy at night from the street noise. Overall good price and awesome location.

The hotel is in a great location. About 15 min walk to the Eiffel Tower and 5 min from the train station. However, there is no A/C in the hotel.

This was a very nice European style hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. Do not expect an American style hotel as this is Europe and this is a typical European hotel, rooms are a bit smaller and no air conditioning as throughout Europe. The location is great, 5 minutes from the Eiffel Tower and in a nice small neighborhood with lots of character. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. I will stay here again.

Never take room number 9, it is terrible. Take for example 26. Good location. Breakfest is OK for 12.50 Euro.Part of the hotel is not renovate and looks bad. Make sure you ask about the room, and where is located.Overall if you got the right room, it is worth the money you pay fot it.
