This was a lovely quaint hotel. Make sure to check if you've booked a twin or a double and emailed them as we got given a twin. They were able to move us to a double. The rooms are very small and the bathrooms even more so. Not so good for overweight or taller guests. It was however clean and tidy. Bed was really good and firm and we had everything we needed. The staff were really helpful. Karolina on reception was really pleasant and nice. Had lots of information to tell us. Oceana couldn't have been more helpful. There was little breakfast left when we got down and she couldn't do enough to get it sorted and filled. She was like that both mornings and got us everything we needed. Overall it's a pleasant place to stay.
We stayed here back in July for 4 nights but I have only just got round to writing a review now - The location of this hotel was great - walkable to the Eiffel Tower and close to many restaurants. The rooms were okay, slightly small but for the price paid + location, it was expected from us. The reason however for 1 star - on our 1st night around 12pm, we were asleep as tired from the journey and being a light sleeper, I was awoken to what I thought was someone fiddling around with our door. I quickly shook my boyfriend awake and in walked a member of staff at the hotel (!!!!!!!) scaring the life out of us. He apologised and said he was just checking if the room was occupied as on their system it said the room was vacant and then quickly went back out again !!!! We were absolutely gobsmacked as you can imagine and I found it hard to go back to sleep as my paranoia was thinking the worst like 'what if that wasn't a hotel employee', 'what if we weren't wearing coverable night clothes' (as it was mid-July!) and most of all I was thinking "how on earth are these people just allowed to come into our hotel room????" - I wish now that we had said something to the reception desk the next morning, but at the time in all honesty we felt a bit embarrassed (even though it wasn't our fault obviously) and also if staff can just walk into hotel rooms during the night, we didn't feel entirely safe confiding in them. So from then on, we put a chair and suitcase up against the door at all times when we were sleeping. The hotel was fine apart from that, but felt the need to mention this as the hotel can hopefully see this review and brief their staff on not walking into guest rooms! And also, future guests can barricade their doors just in case this happens (or has happened - although I see no reviews stating the same thing) to them too. Other than this I would have left 4 stars.
I stayed here with my mother for the weekend this month and couldn’t think of a better place to stay. Location wise 5* receptionists are lovely and helpful! Although breakfast is not worth 12 euros! Would definitely stay again though
A good hotel for the money and the staff were very helpful and courteous. Near to the Eiffel Tower and very convenient for our trip as we were dining on the Bateaux Parisien boat which leaves from nearby. A serious blight on the trip was the amount of bites I suffered from bed bugs and travelling back itching like crazy and dealing with them for the following week!
The location of the hotel was excellent for business in the 15th arr. - easy to access, but also set back off the main road. Duringy stay the staff were very friendly and happy to help and chat. I would stay there again.
The bonus of this hotel was its closeness to the Eiffel Tower and train lines. The rooms are small but bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room was made up each day with fresh linen and towels and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately the squishy bathroom (wouldn't recommend the shower for anyone overweight) had signs of mold and when we were checking the room before we left we noticed under the beds still had rubbish from a previous guest.. One of the lamps next to the bed didn't work and they said they couldn't fix it - this was disappointing as the room needed more lighting than was available anyway. My other complaint would be that the only cups available to make a hot drink were very small and thin plastic, and they were not replaced when used and neither were the teabags.
I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The rooms were tidy and the beds comfy. The receptionists always made sure we were okay and greeted us warmly whenever we came in or left the building. They were really helpful and always in for a little chat. Thank you for making our experience in Paris so pleasantly!
We stayed in this lovely hotel just last week for 4 days. I cannot fault anything about it. The staff were extremely helpful and very very friendly. The rooms were brilliant, with a en suite bathroom. Cleaned daily with little cakes left with tea and coffee which we thoroughly enjoyed. We got breakfast every morning which was brilliant, fresh croissants and toast is what it is all about, we loved the French breakfast. It is about 10-15 minutes from the tower. The road off it has metro and bus stations which were perfect for us. Also has supermarkets and a McDonalds which you can't go wrong with. All in all the hotel and the location were fantastic, we will definitely be coming back here in the near future when we arrive bad in the beautiful city of Paris. Thank you to everyone at France Eiffel Hotel for making our stay that bit better.
That was the 4. Time we stayed in this Hotel. First was 10years ago. Looks like a place where the time stopped. The hotel soon will need refurbrish. Lovely reception team. Parking was not to far from the hotel. Eiffel Tower is walking distance. Breakfast was quite small. Room was extremly small especially bathroom but I knew what I booked. Thank you so much!
Not recommended if you are travelling with family. I experienced poor service, toiletries not replenished regularly, poor housekeeping (was not done for my room on the 2nd day of my stay), the carpet was smelling (as soon as you enter the room, the Windows need to be opened for fresh air), very old interiors. There is no air condition in the hotel, so you will need to request for a table fan. No lunch or dinner served in this hotel, the staff at the reception was not ready to help out with the details of nearby restaurants. Breakfast was mediocre...and not available until 7:15am.so if you are travelling or planning an early trip..you need to buy breakfast from elsewhere. The shower fittings in the bathroom were damaged, exhaust not functioning, two out of the three lights in the bathroom were not functioning as well. This is no way is a three star hotel...more of a guest house for single travellers. Hope the management takes this feedback and looks into the small but important areas for improvement.
