I will say that this hotel is in a good location and the staff is friendly. However, the rooms are in awful condition. My bathroom was covered in mold and there were holes in the wall. The radiator was screeching all night and we could barely sleep. The staff didn’t seem too interested in that though.
Rooms had a beautiful view of the city., Close proximity to the train station and you can take the direct bus roots #42 (Eiffel) and Louvre Museum, and good Asian restaurants located in La-chapel around 150 mtrs away.
i looked for a good budget hotel and hopefully i found that, the reception TEAM was kind and helpful and you felt secure,it was very near to the metro station -Cadet- lovely Quartier in a pittoresque arrondissment, i think the only problem was the very thin walls :-) , at the first night i could n t sleep well, when another rooms wanted to open the door i felt that one person wants to open the door of my room :-) but for the next trip to Paris i ll reserve it again...
Located near the Gare du Nord, this hotel provided us a place to sleep prior to our trip on the Eurostar. A tiny lobby and a disinterested desk clerk put me off; however, the housekeeper warned me (by hand gestures) to be very careful of my purse while I was out and about. The room was tinier than most and the elevator barely held the two of us and our luggage. I guess they had breakfast available but I wanted to leave ASAP in the morning and we ate at the train station.
I like it Very much. The price was excellent and the room was very comfortable. Moreover the staff was really nice with me,helping me each time i needed any information about the city. The position of the hotel Is the best, at few minutes from the metro station of Poissonerie and 10 minutes walking from the Opera and the Gallerie la Fayette. I Would suggest this hotel to everyone who is searching for a cheap hotel but which has in the same time all the services that you need such as an excellent wi fi.
We looked for and booked a hotel once we arrived in Paris. The price was right and the location great as it was close to the train station. Our room was on the top floor and we could see the Eiffel Tower from our small balcony. The double door/window leading to the balcony was great for air flow. The only problem with the room was the strong sewer gas smell coming from the bathroom. We slept with the window open so it wasn't an issue. We stayed at this hotel two nights and would stay again. When we arrived, our room wasn't ready but they locked our luggage up for us. We checked out on Saturday morning and they kept our luggage for us as our flight wasn't until 10 that night.
1.clean(4/5) 2.in the center 3.Excellent staff 4.Breakfast is good but not the best 5. 24 hours Reception 6. safe in the room 7. free wifi 8. near the metro 9. super markt next to it 10. elevator in the hotel
I stayed for two nights. The place is very accessible for bus and train travels but since there are 2 bus stops nearby, expect a quite noisy street even at night. Closing the Windows will help reduce noise but it will be a bit hot inside the room. They don't have electric fans too. Elevator is not working so you need to carry your luggages in the small spiral staircase. The walls are not sound proof so you can hear the everything along the corridor and pipe sounds from the other rooms.
My visit was for 3 nights in March and I found that the hotel was very good value for money. The rooms were fairly small but were clean and had everything you need. The reception was 24 hours and although you leave your key when you head out, which I found a bit strange, they were very friendly and helpful all the time. Location isn't bad, very good for Eurostar travellers from Gare du Nord and close to the Cadet metro station too. Would definitely stay again.
This is a very nice hotel for a low budget and very close to Paris Gare du Nord. So perfect for when you travel from the UK, Netherlands, Belgium or Germany by any of the high speed trains. And nearby are also 2 metro stations altho both from the same line.
