The Best Western Select Hotel dates from 1927 and was totally renovated in 2006. The hotel offers 61 rooms and is located on the outskirts of Paris in Boulogne-Billancourt close to métro Billancourt. It is a clean middle-class hotel. Our very small sized non-smoking room had an OK double-bed. Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet. Windows can be opened. The nicely furnished & decorated room had a desk & chair, flat screen TV mounted on the wall, coffee & tea making facility, wardrobe & safe, airco and a small separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet & shower. All was clean. We would recommend this big-city sleeping factory to anyone who seeks an accommodation close to an métro station.

I stayed for 6 nights. Rooms are okay. Some people might not like the bed. Bathrooms are clean. Breakfast is Okay (I won’t say good or great) Staff at reception are helpful. Staff in breakfast room are good. Location was okay for me as it was close to the venue, Lot of restaurants and Metro station at walkable distance. Overall my stay was okay.

it is conveniently somehow near to OECD building complex. Very near to metro station and can get to some major points in Paris by this metro line no. 9. Just near by there are good restaurants. At hotel reception they provide good recommendation for restaurants. Double rooms are on the street side, sometimes could be noisydepending on the speed of the motorcycles!

We were really expecting the worst from this hotel, after reading the reviews, but we were more than pleasantly surprised. True, we were there in October, which is not high season, so naturally we probably received one of the better rooms and there were likely few other guests, so the hotel was very quiet. Check-in was the fastest I have ever experienced - anywhere. I was happy that there was someone at the front desk 24/7. We interacted with 3 different staff at the front desk during our stay, and there was never a problem with them speaking and understanding English. And they were always helpful and friendly. The elevator was tiny - plan to go just one person at a time, if you have anything bigger than carry on luggage. We were given a room at the back of the hotel, on the first floor. Absolutely beautifully new and fresh and modern. The shower was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, there was absolutely no noise whatsoever, and the television got great channels (in French, of course). The air conditioning worked well. The room had a tiny fridge (great for the patisseries I had purchased), and a kettle for hot water. The only problem we experienced was that one day the maid only gave us one towel, and one cup - the front desk quickly remedied that. We felt totally safe walking around after dark. The Metro was only about half a block from the hotel, on the #9 Metro line. McDonald's is only about 2 blocks away - a very easy walk (but they don't open till 7:30am). And there is an excellent patisserie about a block and a half away called Dolle - check it out for quick sandwiches, quiche, and desserts that are excellent. We were more than pleased with this hotel, and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

Simple hotel. Has a parking but if you have a big car (lets says anything SUV) you will have stress getting in. Rooms are fine, al be it a little small. Fine for a short business stay but nothing more. Breakfast limited. My main concern with this hotel was not having hot water. Nobody able to fix it.

The Hotel is clean, simple and modest, but very far to justify this incredible price. Sleep in the rooms facing the main street it's very hard. Noises from traffic and local teenagers continue all night.

This hotel is horrible, very bad relation quallity-price. The rooms are really small, the reception is too old, no international channels on TV, the wifi too bad, the entry of the parking very narrow, if you have a big car you need to pray to save it, and breakfast the worst thing, just a piece of bread, some slices of ham, two hard eggs for all the guests, and no fruit just apples, and it costs 16€, it is a joke?. Bad option in Paris... really disappointed

I did stay there for work, the room looks pretty new, but I think the whole hotel is being fixed. If you have a room on the street , it might be a little noisy but not so much to do for that. The breakfast is fine, there is some choice. We unfortunately got some issue with the water, it was cold and not possible to take a shower on the morning, which is a little annoying not having a shower before going to work.. but overall that was good, i would stay again there. The reception was very nice.

There are some nice new boutique hotels in Boulogne but this is not one of them. The hotel is undergoing renovation but there is no mention of this on the site and no discount offered for the stench of paint, the dust everywhere and the fact that you get woken up at 8.30 by drilling and banging. It is a good job that they are renovating because my room looked like a badly maintained prison cell from a 1950s jail. The food at breakfast was not much better that you would expect in an institute of correction. Industrial juice, discount ham, microwaved pastries and coffee that tasted like old socks. Really! Who runs this kind of place these days. Also the sound insulation between rooms was non existent so you could hear the guy next door coughing and taking a leak. I complained to one of the housekeeping staff about the state of the bathroom and was roundly told where to get off. If you have ever seen Fawlty Towers prepare for something rather worse. The only redeeming feature was Eva at reception who was clearly deeply embarrassed to be working there and who did everything in her power to make up for the hotel's deficiencies and who gave us some great restaurant recommendations and was always helpful and charming. Don't stay here if you have a choice!

Some of the reviews are not very flattering so I'm guessing they stayed in non renovated rooms. My room was brand "new" so everything was clean and new. Loved it. Yes the room is small - it is Paris afterall. The elevator is the smallest you will have ever seen/stood in - anywhere! Lovely visit, staff was very friendly.
