The apartment was generally as described, and looks like the photos. Some of the furniture was stained (dining chairs and rug), and the place was clean enough but could have used a deeper clean (dusty corners, shower has mildew stains). Towels and bedding were clean and comfortable. Note that there is a microwave only and no full oven, and not all of the pans work with the convection stovetop. The sleeping arrangements worked well for our group of 4, however be aware that the only door in the entire apartment is to the bathroom, which means there is no complete sound or light privacy between any of the other rooms/sleeping areas. The ladder to the loft bed is very steep. Our friend who slept on the sofa bed said there was a lot of noise from the street that kept them up at night.Check-in and -out was straightforward and smooth. The host was very responsive both before and during our stay, but at times the responses seemed automated. Multiple times I received the same message twice in a row, but with slightly different wording (e.g. in advance of both check-in and check-out dates). Also, I let the host know that the remotes for the TV were not working, and although they (Dylan) said they would bring new batteries the next day, no follow-up or follow-through actually happened.This stay was sufficient and affordable for our three nights in Paris and worked well enough for our needs, but the property and management could definitely use some improvement.
