This hotel has great potential, the locations and staff are excellent. They are very friendly and happy to help with anything you ask. The rooms were clean, and a maid came in to change towels and clean every day. The hotel is on located on the main road (Tomb of the King's Avenue), with easy access to bus-stops, supermarkets and Tavernas. The hotel is a budget hotel, so nothing fancy, and the furniture etc. could do with replacing. We were staying in the annex part of the hotel. You can hear the street and other customers, but we kept the air con on all night and had no issues with noise. They are clearly in the process of upgrading when they can, new air conditioning had been installed this year. I found the beds to be fairly comfortable, although the bathrooms were a bit too small for me. Overall, I feel that the manager really cares about the place, and the customers, and for those on a budget, the King's is a decent enough hotel to stay in.

Mario is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Nothing was too much trouble. You cannot knock the service and the way they receive you at this hotel. The location is brilliant. You are smack bang in the middle of lots of restaurants which is some of the best food I have ever eaten. Corallia beach and the harbour is a must and a few euro away on the bus. The hotel yes is a bit dated but the rooms are clean and the maids where spot on with the service. The guests were lovely and the bar was very reasonable. Breakfast was ok I just didn't venture down that much as I like to sleep in and get an early lunch. Best places to eat Fat Mamas, Tramps, Three Little pigs takeaway, San Marino and Chloe chinese. Enjoy your trip hope you love it as much as we did

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and concluded that have not stayed in a worse hotel in our life. Where to start? Big cockroaches were walking down the corridors. Mattresses have bended in from the years. The water pressure in the shower is almost something better than dripping level. Impossible to flash the toilet. Fridge did not work. The door of the room was obviously smaller than its frame. The cleaning lady decided not to change our towels the second day so we had to go back to the reception to ask (oh yes afterwards we found out that they hide a pair in the closet (why??) that could serve for one of the 2 persons staying at the room). The air co was working but it stopped during the night without a reason (not to us at least) and you had to wake up to restart it (no timer set). The staff is very friendly but they don't seem to understand that there is a problem. Wr would not stay there again even if they would pay us. Jokes aside we believe that the public health services should pay a visit and the check the hygiene of this place.

we visited this hotel for ny birthday. Suprisingly the staff was so so friendly which made my birthday even better. They brought me wine for my birthday and the breakfast was nice and simple. Its a little bit overpriced for a two star hotel for 74 euros per night which was the inly negative. Overall clean as well

I went to lot of hotels all over the world!!! I have to say that this hotel were one of the most teribble experiences that I ever had!!! The room was not clean, the carpet on the floor seems to have not been changed for many years !!! On the top of the room was full of mould, the hotels need to change all the rooms put new bathrooms and toilets and new beds!!! The colours of the room were too old. The one positive thing that i can say is that they have tv and aircondition!!!! The bathroom were not clean and its too too small!!!! We gave 70 per night but in other countries if you give 70 euro you can take a room many levels better than this one!!!! For sure i will not go there again!!!!!

Just returning from this "hotel" I had to write this review to express how TERRIBLE our experience was!! Not only were we given a room where we felt like we were lying in the middle of the street in regards to the cars/buses/motorbikes noise but also the matrices were the worst I have ever slept on in my entire life!! They seem to have not been changed for 30 years or so, bending inwards, hurting our backs!! On top of that the room was full of mould, smelling terribly as a result of the discusting carpet on the floor. I don't even want to comment on the showertab which fortunately didn't need to use!! As a result of the above I only slept for 1 hour the whole night and couldn't wait for the sun to rise to get out of this hole! Breakfast was very basic with left overs from previous days, coffee tasteless and bread a couple of days old. Cannot even think of one positive thing about this hotel!! Not recommended to ANYONE!! AVOID!! Didn't even have the courage to take photos to support this terrible experience.

Staff were very helpful & atmosphere good but hotel is very dated & certainly wouldn't pass our health & safety criteria! Balcony rails in the annexe rooms at the back overlooking the car park were wooden & rotten so I wouldn't let a child stay here. This was a family room & a good size with a small kitchen, sink - but no taps!! Showers hit & miss - & often missed! Quite noisy if you are on the main road side. Breakfast is quite basic with limited choice but plenty of good coffee, bread, rolls. However kept very clean with daily service including Sundays. So if you want a cheap hotel close to good bars & restaurants then it is worth considering.

Our second visit in six months to the Kings Hotel and it's as good as ever. Two Star budget hotel which we feel is excellent value for money with a home from home atmosphere, mostly down to the wonderful staff here. Thank you Nayia and team for a great stay. This is a great base to explore the surrounding area, very easy to travel around on the frequent buses which run past the hotel or just walk along the lovely coast path. An abundance of excellent restaurants in the area too.

If you want luxury, this isn't it -- this is a fairly basic value hotel, and the rooms look largely the same as I imagine they did in the 1970s. That said, the room was in good, clean condition; the mattress was comfortable; and the (newer) air conditioning was strong, so no complaints from me. The location is a convenient 10-minute stroll from the Tomb of the Kings, and a 20-minute walk from the harbor and archaeological area. There's an enormous, modern mall less than a 10 minute walk down the road with everything you could possibly want, but try to support the many local shops and restaurants nearby. The best part of staying here was the friendly service -- smiles and warm welcomes even after a delayed flight had me arrive at 2 am, and each day at breakfast. If you don't need fancy, this is a great value.

Went for four nights for a wedding. Cant fault the staff, nothing was too much trouble especially Mario & Naiyia. Rooms spotlessly clean thanks to hard working team. Breakfast was plentiful & varied. Great value for money would definitely return. Will be back Mario for a large cold Keo Thanks for a wonderful stay. Paul
