the rooms are depressing - good location - small pool - good personell - need to say more? it was clean ,but the rooms were built decades ago and it was not a pleasant stay in the room. people were nice , though

We stayed at Kings for 14 days on our honeymoon. From the beginning, we were impressed by all of the staff, for whom nothing was too much. We were made to feel at home right from the start and were given a room in the annex, with balcony. Yes, the decor and fittings were a little dated, but the room was cleaned every day, with fresh sheets and towels, plus air con. Breakfast was continental buffet style, with a choice of cooked eggs made to order. Although there was a nominal time for breakfast to end, the wonderful Naiyia would keep breakfast open for those late risers. We were able to hire a car via the hotel, which was brought directly to us, with paperwork being completed by the pool. It was also possible to get laundry done, with clean clothes being returned within 24 hours. Good advice on places to visit/eat was available from Mario and other staff members. The pool was clean, although, with trees surrounding it, there was the odd leaf in it, which is to be expected. We met several guests who had been returning on a regular basis, so that says something. We can't thank the staff team enough for making our stay in Cyprus a memorable one. In conclusion, the building is dated, but is clean and comfortable. The annexe rooms are the quieter ones, as the hotel is located on the main road. Expect to feel like a member of the family and if you are wanting a good base to visit the beautiful island of Cyprus from, then come here.

We had booked this hotel for a day as we had a vila for the week and needed to be out for 10am so got early checkin here until our late flight home, room was ready when requested for and was offered breakfast since wasn't staying staff seemed friendly enough. We had room on the front the rooms are not amazing but i have seen worse main thing it was clean and air con worked. The pool doesn't look the best was little bit dirty and it looks like it needs some work on it i decided not use it but seen others using it later on that day. Rooms where maybe a little outdated and walls paper thin could hear everything from other rooms it reminded me of a couch of oldies on a coach trip kind of hotel with some retro music thing in middle of beds sadly this doesn't work. Basic and cheap and clean also a good location for everything just don't expect anything great. Oh and free wifi

I reviewed this hotel June 2016 and will not repeat my comments but will re-iterate the positive comments published by other clients to this site. I booked a cheap flight from Newcastle to Paphos 24 hours before I flew to Antalya hoping to find a hotel when I came back. The rest is history. My bed rejected me and I booked the Kings for obvious reasons. The hotel is 1980s but so many people go back for weeks and months. People I had met last year recognised me, as did Nayia, Mario, Alina and Pepa (Manager and staff) So much of of a family feeling, you will be called by your christian name by everyone. You will not get this in the big hotels. Apart from the noisy road, this is a good B&B and I will be going back at least twice a year. I recommend this hotel as it is a good base especially if you like walking.

This is the Queen Mother of Hotels in Pathos. Not that were complaining the place is wonderful, so much so its clients return year after year, some for decades. Just to see the chic 70's bedrock look. The staff are excellent and remember their guests needs year after year. Even for the fussiest people who need extras at strange times of their stay. Close to the central harbour area, about 3 or 4 stops on the bus, and surrounded by many very good bars and restaurants. The continental style breakfast is good and times are flexible. I would not stay anywhere else in Cyprus.

Stayed at the Kings for one week in May. Situated on the main Kings road plenty of places to eat and drink ( Mcdonalds and KFC if you want ) The bus stop for Coral Bay is outside Mcdonalds, and for Paphos harbour this is on the opposite side or you can walk to the harbour which is about 10 minutes. This is a budget hotel so if you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay then this is it. The room I stayed in was at the front of the hotel which can be noisy but this was not an issue for me, the room was adequate for my needs. The staff are lovely and friendly, Mario and Nayia are very warm and welcoming which made it a great place to stay. I would defiantly stay at the Kings again.

Stayed in the annex part of the Hotel on this occasion. Found this very peaceful and handy. Again Nayia and staff were very friendly and welcoming, just like being at home. The buffet breakfast was varied and adequate- plenty on display. I was able to meet up with friends I had met in the past. People return year after year. Will be back soon...

I stayed here for 2 nights with my friends for my 50th birthday last weekend. The Manageress was most accommodating to all our requests and gave us complimentary champagne and fruit in our room. We choose this hotel as it was cheap and an excellent location and we didn't have any high expectations of it. However, due to the manageress and staff being so helpful, the clean rooms, the nice breakfast and the great location - I would most definitely recommend this hotel. She allowed us a late check out as well.

Nice small clean budget hotel with friendly staff and a varied breakfast.lots of bars restaurants and shops around, not far from the beach ,harbour, old town and giant shopping center Several rooms at the front are quite noisy as there is a very busy road. Bus stops near

I love the king's hotel! I stayed on the first night of my travels and on the last night before I flew home from paphos. The location is perfect. Tombs of the kings, bus station, the harbour, LIDL, the beach and other ancient roman sites are all within walking distance. If you are looking for a cheap, central, friendly, clean, quiet place to stay you will not be disappointed. All of the staff are wonderful and could not be more accommodating. For me as a solo traveller I felt very comfortable and relaxed here. The pool, balcony and included breakfast of meats, cheese, bread, fruits, veg, tea and coffee were my favourite points. Would definitely recommend! Such a happy stay :)
