We made a reservation via Trivago yesterday and when we arrived at the hotel were told that the rate for the room only applies for something called "Cruise and Shop"- when you have a cruise line ticket, in the case of this not being so, a surcharge of 11 dollars was charged. The offer on the website told you about 99 Dollars for the room, but does not talk that conditions for this rate apply. The staff was poorly trained and not very helpful.

I just stayed here for two days. Staff was pretty friendly and rooms are comfortable. The restaurant is good, although breakfast needs a little improvement. Location is really good, close to supermarkets, restaurants and souvenirs shops.

I enjoyed my stay there. Very friendly staff and the hotel offers a really good breakfast. The view of the harbor is also nice. And the restaurants near the hotel offer delicious diner options. The shopping area behind the hotel is a "must" visit.

Prior to this visit I read a number of reviews on this property and the results were mixed. My wife and I had problems when we were checking in. The front desk staff tried ot add $55/night to our room and only relented after I threatened to cancel and to call Radisson Headquarters in the U.S. The rooms are nice and the Casino is OK. The room service staff missed towels twice during the week, however, it was obvious that the laundry was behind. After complaininng, towel service improved. The staff obviously needs Customer Service Training. Foreign guests who book online don't need lectures regarding the Hotel's issues when they show up, all that is necessary is GOOD SERVICE and staff that only has the Customer's wellbeing in mind. Radisson Colon fails in this regard. A nice clean property, the better one in Colon, However, owner and staff can use a lesson in Customer service. Hopefully, this happens soon.

Ideal location, staff is always helpful. Staff at this hotel always make my wife and my stay memorable. They go above and beyond to ensure that we are satisfied. They are so warm and friendly, making us feel at home away from home.

Only place we saw in Colon that we felt comfortable visiting. The hotel bar was a fun place with good service. The casino as well was cool and comfortable. I can't emphasize enough how there isn't much of a choice in Colon. Would not suggest to take a pleasure trip here

Very secure, there was police always out and about, there were restuarants, supermarkets etc close by! Rooms were cleaned everyday, towels always replaced..view is amazing!!!!!! Will definitely be visiting on my next colon stay

service on this hotel is terrible, a international hotel should perform better. staff is lazy. received wrong laundry 2 times. staff didn't lock the terrace door twice after cleaning the room. 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁

We were meeting our Windstar cruise ship in Colon and arrived a day early. The travel agent (Amex) said that we couldn't use the Windstar hotel (and was totally wrong) and arranged the Radisson in Colon. The driver was great and met us at the airport. It did take about 1 1/2 hours at 9 pm to get to the hotel. The free breakfast was very good. We thought we would walk over to the International trade zone which was close to the hotel. It was very disappointing and a complete waste of time. Colon is not a city you want to walk around unless you are packing your 9 millimeter. The hotel was fine but next time we will stay in Panama City the night before.

We needed a place to stay for one night in between leaving Panama City and shipping vehicle from Colon Port. This hotel was convenient. The lobby and room were spacious, beautifully decorated and clean. Vehicle was safe in parking lot. Buffet lunch was a little sparse but that's because a tour bus stopped in, ate and devoured many of the options and left. Breakfast buffet, although expensive, had many and plentiful options. Fast and reliable wifi. AC worked wonderfully. A challenge to drive here because right at edge of Duty-free zone. Neighborhood sketchy so don't walk around.
