Functional rooms albeit a bit small with a very small bathroom. With AC and most of them have no balcony. The lay-out inside the hotel is a bit confusing but you'll soon get the hang of it. There is a bar but to call it a bar is overrated, it's in the corner of the lobby. There is free wifi but it doesn't work properly and/or all the time and isn't very fast. The pool is very small with 3 beach chairs (plastic and no mattresses) and some tables and chairs. At night the ping of the elevator is very annoying! Also it is impossible to close the doors of the room softly so if the guests near you will have to leave early you will be awake. And the walls are very thin! There is a small area outside in the back for smokers but it is actually a very nice place to sit and relax (with wifi). Unplug the phone if you don't want to get a wake up call that you didn't ask for! We got one at 4 o'clock in the morning and one at 5 o'clock! Breakfast is a small buffet with scrambled eggs and some cheeses and meat. A toaster and fresh fruits. We had dinner one night in their restaurant and it was ok. It does come in handy when you speak a few words Spanish because their English is very bad, even at the reception but we found that that's the standard in Panama. In the close neighborhood there are some restaurants but not that many. Across the street is a small supermarket, the fruit master.
The hotel staff is very friendly. We had to leave early for the flight. They prepared breakfast for us at 6:00 AM. Rooms were clean.. The hotel WIFI was working well The food for the breakfast menu was good
My husband and myself stated at this hotel for six days . The room was very clean Anything I needed the staff was ready to help The owner Luz Maria went out of her way to acommodate us. Loved the breakfast buffet Felt like I was among friends Very quite area Safe to walk
I normally would not choose a hotel like this but, at $50 a night with free buffet breakfast, pool, parking and wifi.. it's HARD to beat. It was very clean and close to main streets like Via Argentina (Full of bards, restaurants, etc) and Via Espana (banking center, all types of stores). Staff was friendly and accommodating.
We were in Panama in September and we chose this hotel, I think the choice we made was very good .The hotel was centrally located, the rooms were very comfortable and clean, the breakfast satisfactory and generally was a pleasant stay.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks during our last trip to Panama. The hotel was clean inside and out. Enjoyed the pool area a couple of days and it was nice. We give a thumbs up to the management and staff. Every single person was very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was nice for breakfast but we dined out in the evening so we could have more options. We would definitely choose to stay here on our next visit.
Well situated on a relatively quiet street with close proximity to the El Cangrejo shopping area and the wonderful dining choices of Via Argentina. The room was pleasant and I was quite pleased and impressed when the dining crew accommodated my Vegetarian needs at breakfast. Laundry and other amenities nearby. Thanks to the always helpful staff for a wonderful stay. You'll see me again! The pool, free wifi and other nearby amenities were quite welcome.
We were pretty tired when we arrived, but the hotel was pretty relaxing and well suited for what we were looking for. It's well located and close to a number of great restaurant choices. There was a relaxing pool where we spent the next morning getting the last bit of sunshine before we headed back to Canada. The hotel breakfast buffet was a nice touch, but not a lot of variety. My only complaint was that the air conditioning didn't work very well.
We stayed here for 4 nights in a tiny room with a tiny bathroom. Also the pool area was kind of small but nice and clean. They had an a/c and a wifi and the breakfast buffet was nice. It was within a walking distance from the nearest metro station. The biggest flaw would have to be the staff: some of them were really nice and helpful but most of the staff didn't speak English at all and were very rude to us.
Before I checked into the hotel I asked for a quite room. I had to wait a week. The first night I slept well. The next night and nights after that I could not get any sleep because the building next doors plays loud music all night. When I spoke to a manger about this problem she said they never had this problem before. I sope with the staff and they said they have this problem a lot. This establishment lied to me. Also the beds are really hard and uncomfortable. Most of the staff don’t speak english. I watch the cleaning lady cleaning the bath room floor with my used towels. I was told if I don’t like it there leave.
