Great Escape

We had a wonderful stay! Stefanie was the best host. She was super responsive. We loved the house, especially, the screened porches! The house was clean upon arrival. We were about a 5 min walk to the beach. There was a cart to make it easy to pack everything and take in one load. The highlight of our trip, was making a beach campfire. I highly recommend this house and host. We are already planning next year's trip!

Cute cottage on the Cape

The cottage is very spacious and clean. We loved all the outdoor space and fountain in the lake behind the house. Very easy walk to the beach access. We loved how close we were to the state park. We had great weather our entire stay!
Capri loved her wagon ride to the beach!

Cozy family getaway

This was our second year staying here. It is cozy, well decorated, and a perfect size for a dec my size family. We had some stress due to planning a wedding at the beach during a hurricane but the house was perfect.

Wonderful place on Cape San Blas

Great location just at the entrance of the state park area. Very comfortable and clean home. Lots of room to relax both inside and out. Would love to come back.

Great stay!

Plenty of space for a family of 6 adults plus dogs. It was a great location with a short walk to the beach and pool without being right in the middle of everything. Loved the porch space, clean, well-stocked, good AC. Our only issue was with slow WiFi at times. A couple of the people in our group had to do some remote work and online meetings, and the WiFi was sometimes unreliable for that. Besides that, we had a great week and would stay again!

Wish we would have known…

Don’t get me wrong, we had a very nice time! And Stephanie was great and on top of things (a/c was acting up and she came over immediately to check it out and had someone come fix it). However, I felt like we should have known that the hand soap was going to be watered down (had I know , I would have taken our own!) there was not any dish soap or dishwasher soap or laundry detergent. However, we’re asked to wash the dishes, start the dishwasher and start a load of towels upon leaving. So, my question was: how did the guest before us wash dishes or towels without soap?😬. My thought is they didn’t use soap. So, upon arriving, and realizing there wasn’t any soap, we had to get back in the car and go get these things. We knew about the toilet tissue, paper towels and trash bags (and planned accordingly). If these things are too expensive for the owner to provide, I think charging $10 more per visit would be better than having to wonder if the guests before us used soap and have to leave immediately upon arrival to get these things. I understand these items may have just been forgotten about upon restocking for us, but it does have us thinking about whether this was the best option for our vacation.

Loved our stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this house and the location. The house was clean and had a great outdoor area that was screened in (the spiral staircase on the porch may not be suitable for tiny dogs or really young children-no gate.) The outside closet at the back of the house had some really nice beach items to use. The neighborhood was very dog friendly for those bringing your pets. I would stay here again!

Summer by the Sea

We met family down in CSB for a celebration of my mom’s 65th birthday. The house was perfect for our family (parents, 2 teens, 2 terriers). We liked the extra privacy of our own home vs a condo! A very short walk to a beautiful beach! The house had EVERYTHING and more - space, laundry, dishes, very comfortable beds, games, etc. Only recommendation would be to think about groceries before getting there - not too many options close by, especially for red meat and fresh produce. Not a deal breaker - just a recommendation! This was the perfect, quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of life! Thanks for having us!

Great place!

We LOVED our time in Cape San Blas and LOVED the house. Plenty of room for 6 adults and one toddler. We love the location and the layout of the house. Our only complaint is that there was not enough space to store food etc. in the kitchen. But we will definitely be back!

Relaxing hideaway

Spent 5 days here for my wife's 40th birthday along with our 3 year old daughter and even the dog came down. Great location, playground across the street and 2 pools plus the beach all walkable. Little extras like having a wagon to pull our stuff back and forth makes all the difference. Will be back again for sure.

Great location, great community and great people!

With 2 young children ages 4 and almost 3 this place was perfect. A park right outside our front door. Easy access to the beach and community pools. We brought our dog as well. Very dog friendly community.

Wonderful gem!

This was our third vacation to cape San blas, but our first time staying in barrier dunes, but it won’t be our last! This house is so nicely equipped, the kitchen has everything you need, even an air fryer! The dog bowls and towels for the dog were much appreciated! The beds were comfortable, the views from the screened in porches overlooking the pond was so peaceful, and I loved sitting on the front porch swing watching my kids play on the awesome playground across the street. The property manager Stephanie was so helpful when we had an issue with our 3 yr old and thought we might have to make an ER visit (thankfully crisis averted). We were here for spring break, and I do have to say the beach at barrier dunes might be busiest on the cape, but there was still plenty of room to spread out and honestly my kids found other children their on age on the beach and at the pools it was really nice! We loved the turtle pond, and how dog friendly the community is, it was really special to be able to bring our elderly dog with us, he loved the beach and I don’t know how many more trips he will make, but this one was a special one! Thank you so much! We will be back for sure!

San Blas weekend getaway

The property was very nice. The community was very nice. Weather was perfect, and the local dining was excellent. Just a really nice restful, and thoroughly enjoyable stay. We will be back.
