I cut my stay short after after asking the front dest employee about no caffee nor some items in breakfast display. Before 9am she replied that "we are out sorry". I inquired about the breakfast hours and she clarified 6 ro 10 am. At which point I was interrupted by the genaral manager whom spoke in a loud voice that " she is not incharged of breakfast and you better let her go back to her job" I said, Im the guest, she should take care of me first. I think he did not liked me talking to his special employee. Because now even louder tone he made it very clear that he was the general manger and all breakfast items would be replenished. Since I didn't want to upset him anymore i stepped off to wait for at least a coffee. At that time the breakfast lady came out and I asked for yogurt, fruits and coffee. Ohh coffee, we are all out...sorry. i told her to let the GENERAL MANAGER know about it, because he assured me it was coming soon. Keep in mind that front desk and breakfast area are one. I think the manager talked down loudly to me just to hide his incompetence and lack of professionalism. I went up to my room to pack and moved to another place with coffee and professional employees.

The bed was very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs in it. The pillows were flat. There was no padding in them. The refrigerator was unplugged so it did not work asked for a receipt and they told me sorry you have to go to Expedia to get that very nonprofessional place to stay I will never stay in a Tru by Hilton again

Really!

$50 incidental fee per night with no microwave in the room, no closet space, no safe, no timely access to fresh towels, no place to take the trash, no ice machine on the floor, no shuttle to shopping or to the beach, and etc.! And a surprise power outage in the middle of the night!

Our stay went well. Be prepared to pay $150.00 upon arrival in order to cover "incidentals". They said a refund would be issued if we didn't damage or remove items from the room. Overall the room was clean and in very good condition. The floors are not carpeted, which is a plus, but they did need sweeping. The bathroom was clean and orderly. No closet, no drawers for storage. There was a small rounded bar with hangers for clothing, but no other storage except a shelf underneath the nightstands. Good parking near doorways was available. We parked at the back of hotel, near the pool area. The door there was very close to elevators so getting in and out was simple and quick.
