This was our 8th stay at Tower 3 of the Calypso and this was by far the most basic and dated room. Furniture both inside and out were in poor condition and soiled. We checked in Saturday the 4th and immediately left to meet another couple was staying in another room. On Sunday the 5th I alerted the property manager of the floors being filthy throughout and was told that because I didn’t tell them with supporting photos at check in that we would have to deal with it. We brought two other family’s both in 3 bedroom units for their first time stay. Will not stay in another grand welcome unit.

Poorly maintained amenities by the resort, not the host. Pool was not warm the 1st week, hot tub never worked despite us being told repeatedly it would be fixed. Weird buzzing noise from the building in the room. Staff(man) was rude when we wanted a quick swim at 9:45pm.You should upgrade the mattresses, the pull out and the bunk beds are very uncomfortable.Host was very responsive!

Could be great

Very nice unit, great view. However, cleanliness was an issue. Floors had a level of that sandy grit that is brought in on shoes. This was in every room. I am a socks or barefoot person indoors. A few hours into our first day I realized my socks locks like I had been walking outdoors. Primary bathroom had a layer of hair on the floor.Living room chair has major stains/discoloration. Refused to sit on it.Bath towels...a 10. towel from Target would be a major upgrade.

Not as expected

I’ll start off with saying that the location of the property and view is amazing. The beautiful view from the balcony of the ocean and Main Street of PCB is truly stunning. All that’s needed is a 2 minute cross from the road and you’re at the beach. 5-10 minute walk to the popular pier and attractions. Now for the property itself it was alright. The MAIN ISSUE IS CLEANLINESS! The walls are all scuffed as well as one of them near the entrance having a crack/dent. The bathroom wall was splattered with something brown, the tiles had hair, and the toilet seat had a stain. The showers don’t have very good pressure and it’s easy for the water to splatter in the tile floors and the main bathroom has a very slow toilet. The kitchen aesthetically is nice, but other than a small thing of dish soap and a sponge there were no other essentials upon arrival. It would have been nice to have at least a few waters in the fridge and coffee filters but there was nothing. The coffee pot was also very dirty that we did a deep cleaning of to get coffee stains/grime off, so again it really wasn’t clean. The whole floor has a layer of grimy sand that’s annoying on the feet so we stayed wearing house sandals inside. The pull out bed was absolutely disgusting. Whoever had used it before left stains, red nail polish chips and again hair. The under side of the mattress was also black stained- probably from the nonstop in and out tugs. I let the owner know, didn’t do anything to help. Careful if booking
