Gone Coastal was great! The location was perfect for beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. The home was large enough for 4 large families with all the amenities. I would definitely stay again.

This home was absolutely beautiful! Spacious for a large family, beautifully decorated, great location. Highly recommend and definitely would love to stay here again!Royal Destinations was very responsive on any question as well. So very helpful!

The spacious, beautifully decorated house was perfect for our group of 5 adults and 5 children ages 4 through 8 years old. The heated pool was a favorite activity and the close proximity to the beach resulted in many hours of beach time. We cooked most days in the wonderful kitchen but enjoyed a few meals at some close restaurants. We would definitely stay at Gone Coastal again!

Great location, walking distance to the beach, perfect sized pool, clean, and like new with tons of space! Royal Destinations was very prompt in returning the few inquiries we had. Only suggestion is we would love to see some new bikes as they were in need of some TLC. We will be staying here again!

Tons of space and amenities, we really enjoyed our stay. One small complaint is the Pella French doors as they are difficult to lock properly. We ended up limiting their use by our group (4 kiddos especially) to only the front doors and the set in the laundry room. That seemed to help quite a lot.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house had a perfect layout for 6 adults and 4 kids. Great location to the beach access and central location on 30a. The main level kitchen was great and the entire house has perfect layout for everyone to have privacy and space. Kids loved the pool area and lookout deck. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. The doors and elevator were tricky to get closed and operating correctly. Finally figured out how to lock the doors after a few days. Overall the property is in expected condition for a busy rental but needs some maintenance and cleaning for the lingering musty smell. Royal destinations was great to work with and very responsive to any issue.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the best time at Gone Coastal- 9 adults and 5 kids (under the age of 5) total. There was plenty of space even with all the kid gear for a relaxing weeks. Just a 5 min walk down the street to the beach steps was our fav part. One mile walk to The Citizen for dinner and Foneville Press for coffee and the park at Alys Beach was perfect. There were some items I wish had been listed on the website (2 beach chairs, pool/beach toys for the kids, and a baby skip hop play zone). Check in wasn’t available until 5pm on the dot so don’t expect and earlier text. The alarm feature on the doors leading out to the pool was very comforting (and loud!). We had 3 sinks backup but the management company arrived within a couple hours and we’re extremely pleasant and quick working. This is our first time using a management company and we’ll certainly use royal destinations again!

Details Lacking

Gone Coastal is nice but it could be better. It is a huge house that sleeps up to 18. It takes a lot to prepare meals for such a large group and the kitchen is woefully stocked to do so. Sure, there is a great gas cooktop and oven, two fridges and two dish washers but from there things do not meet need or expectation. There simply are not enough large, quality pots, bowls, colanders and bakeware. Two thirds of the kitchen drawers are empty. We found one cheap and broken grater, one rusty and half broken can opener and one working coffee maker (another barely functional maker was found under a cabinet). All cooking utensils are cheap junk. Multiple door handles are loose and need attention. The third floor bunk room fan could not be used with the light off because the remote is missing. The list goes on but you get it - the owner should tighten things up to make this house great.

BIG house, great rooms, 5 min walk to the beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was in great and clean condition upon arrival. Looks bigger than in the pictures too. The rooms are spacious. It was good to note that one of the rooms, with 4 single beds is a walk thru room to the carriage house so that would be hard to put a baby sleeping in there. Additionally, my group had many small children so the home is very echoey and sound travels very easily throughout the home. We were also surprised that there are ZERO essential items (salt,pepper,any spices, extra paper towels, extra garbage bags, etc.) so that was something we had to buy at Publix 5 mins away. Also, I reached out asking if the home had any beach toys or chairs and management said no, however in the garage we found a ping pong table, and a plethora of donated beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, etc. That was a great thing for our group with kids. Location is walking distance to the beach which was perfect! 6 bikes were really fun too. I highly recommend this house and overall had a great stay. We were there during a hurricane and management did an excellent job reaching out to check on us during the stay.

Wonderful Family Vacation House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had such a great time with our family vacationing in this home. The layout really helps you all have privacy and there is enough room for each family. We were three families with a total of six young children and six adults. Every family had enough room to feel private space and community space. The pool was wonderful and an excellent addition to this house.It was great to have two different areas with washing machines and dryers. It helps when you have such a large group staying in the house. The house was very clean and I’m a very picky person about that. If you needed something in the kitchen that was not provided, I asked Royal destination to see if they could get us a crockpot and they did so that was very accommodating. One thing I would suggest is to have a couple of larger pots and pans since the house accommodates 18, it would be nice to have larger pots and pans to cook in than what is now provided. We loved having the two refrigerators. One other suggestion might be to have an extra set of sheets available in case you might need to change the sheets in the night (with kids especially) during a time that royal destinations is not available for help. Royal Destinations was extremely easy to work with.

Amazing home rental on 30A for large groups

Reviewer Comments: We scoured the rental listings for the perfect place for our large group of six adults and seven kids and when we landed on this home hosted by Royal destinations, it was everything we had hoped for. The rental experience was easy. The home was extremely well-maintained and clean. Upon arrival. It was very nicely stocked. The private heated pool was probably our favorite part. Even when we had a little trouble with the heater they sent someone out immediately and since we didn’t have the best weather that week, all of us spent so much time around the pool and the backyard area, every bedroom and bunk room has tons of space the bathrooms are amazing I can’t say enough about this home. We use the bikes every day the adults even rode to Seaside and back multiple times on the bikes they have two washers and two dryers and we were able to wash and clean the pool towels daily as needed , the older kids absolutely loved the coach house and the bunk room. All of the children were able to stay together, which was a wonderful experience for them. We will definitely be back and we will definitely rent the same home again. Royal destinations, concierge service was very prompt in answering any calls or texts, or any questions we had throughout the week , they sent separate messages just to check on us and see how we were enjoying our stay as well which I found very nice Finally the locations amazing you are a very short walk to the beach access. The beaches near this home are not overcrowded you are located in between Rosemary Beach and Secrest beach and it’s a nice quieter area than being in the hustle and bustle of Seaside or all the new construction going up by Rosemary location is perfect.

Gone Costal for Thanksgiving

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful, well furnished home in a gorgeous setting. We had three families in the home over Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well equipped with two refrigerators, two dishwashers and tableware for our large group. The heated pool was used by all along with the six bikes. Beach access is a short walk on a pretty street. The beds were all comfy and the showers were hot with nice towels. The elevator helped get luggage to the third floor. Two laundry rooms helped us keep towels and clothes clean. We enjoyed the many beautiful decks. The house has two identical beautiful master suites and two large bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The only complaint heard was the guest room with a queen bed (no attached bath)on the far side of the house has barn doors and does not allow for much privacy. It’s a great space for parents of young kids with the bunk room right next to it and a living area and kitchen. The spiral staircase to the four beds above this guest room is a bit difficult to navigate depending on age of person. But makes a nice space for young teens looking to get away from the group. The other issue was 5 beds in the bunk room, 4 beds in the upstairs room and the queen bed share the one bathroom on that side of the house. We had the teenagers use our showers. This was only an issue for the amount of people we had but the house is truly amazing and extremely well maintained and clean. Would love to have the opportunity to stay here again.
